“Uncle Si” Robertson of the hit A&E series “Duck Dynasty” is rarely seen without a glass — if not an entire jug — of iced tea. Many have wondered how much the man drinks per day, if he refuses to leave the house without it.

TheBlaze TV’s Dana Loesch was able to interview Uncle Si at the Duck Commander 500 at the Texas Motor Speedway and, seeing him walk in with an armful of the beverage, she couldn’t help but ask.

“In every episode, you have your — that’s a gallon of tea!” she said, gesturing at the massive container. “How often do you refill that during the day?”

“I drink two gallons a day,” Si responded confidently. “In a 24-hour period, I drink two gallons. During the day, and at night before I go to bed.”

The “Duck Dynasty” star added that people often tell him, “man you must have to go to the bathroom a lot!” But he described himself as “like a fine-tuned race car.”

“I make a few laps, and then I got to pull in for a pit stop!” he said.

Loesch was also able to interview Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson, as well as Jep Robertson and Jep’s wife Jessica. The group primarily focused on how they’ve dealt with the fame and recognition that comes with being one of America’s favorite families, with their faces on everything from cooking supplies to clothing to books.

“I think it’s key that we’re doing it together as a family, and that keeps us grounded,” Jessica said. “We don’t look at each other as being any different … We don’t hold anybody up, like ‘they’re famous now.’”

She said that before making any major decisions, the whole family gets together — typically at dinner — and prays for guidance.

“From the beginning, [we] said a prayer,” she said. “If this is not where you want to take us, God, then we don’t want any part of it.”
