Police in Wisconsin are investigating the conduct of one of their officers after cellphone video of a Friday night physical altercation surfaced on the Internet Monday afternoon.

The video depicts an individual shouting profanities at an officer outside a Green Bay bar. Moments later, the officer charges the individual, shoves him into a squad car and then pins him on the ground.

According to WLUK-TV, the incident happened after a person was arrested for binge drinking outside a bar. Three people were ultimately arrested, including the individual seen in the video.

Green Bay police Lt. Andrew Opperman told WLUK the department is investigating the incident, but did not offer any further details.

A representative for the police department was not immediately available for comment to TheBlaze Tuesday morning.

One witness said he understands why his friend was charged with disorderly conduct, but thinks the officer’s behavior was aggressive and over the line.

“I can see how my friend got charged with disorderly conduct, but I think the resisting arrest part of it was a little bit, I don’t see where that happened,” Joe Davidson told WLUK. “I think the force was excessive.”
