Michelle Obama’s brother has been fired as the basketball coach from Oregon State University, according to a report Monday from Sports Illustrated.

The report says Robinson had a 94-105 record at Oregon State, and that the university will owe him $4 million for the three years left on his contract.

The magazine reports that Craig Robinson was fired on Sunday, after six years of failing to make the NCAA tournament.

Robinson’s sister’s husband — President Obama — is a huge basketball fan, and has been featured on ESPN each year filling out his NCAA bracket picks. Robinson’s failure to get his team into the tournament means President Obama has not had the chance to choose the Oregon State Beavers.
