Fans of Glenn Beck’s charity, Mercury One, and NASCAR have reason to rejoice this weekend as Mercury One makes its debut at the NASCAR History 300 race on Saturday. The charity’s logo will be featured on car number 7 thanks to Fire Alarm Services, which donated the space. You can even buy a miniature, limited-edition replica of the car online.

“They are unbelievable,” Beck said of the replica cars on his radio program Friday. “They are absolutely, 100 percent accurate … You open up the trunk and you can see the fire suppression system and everything else.”

Having recently joined Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Patriot Partner Program, Mercury One has also pledged to sponsor 250 active duty troops to be bused in, welcomed home, and honored for their service during the Memorial Weekend NASCAR Coca Cola 600 race on Sunday.

Regan Smith, who will be driving the car on Saturday, tweeted this picture earlier this week:

Beck explained why the event is so important for the future of Mercury One.

“Usually I do summer events to pay for all of the infrastructure [of Mercury One] … so I never have to ask you for money to pay for the light bills,” he said. “But this year, because of some weird stuff that happened, we’re not going to do a summer event. And so I’m having to ask you if you would help us keep the doors open of Mercury One, so we can always say, ‘When you make a donation, 100 percent of those dollars go to help.’ This is our fundraiser this year, and we want to thank Fire Alarm Services.”

Donations to Mercury One’s existing relief efforts can be made here, or if you’d prefer to purchase the #7 Fire Alarm Services NASCAR replica model car, the proceeds of which will also go to Mercury One, you can do that here. You can buy an unsigned model, or even get one signed by your favorite Blaze TV personalities.

Beck said he is “bummed” he won’t be able to attend the event himself at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, but that many of his team will be there.

Attendees might very well bump into Dana Loesch, among others who will likely be in the crowd.
