Former “Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe turned to Facebook Sunday night to pen a powerful Memorial Day Facebook post, recalling an encounter he once had with a member of the U.S. Army.
The post, which has been shared nearly 80,000 times at the time of publication, begins when Rowe recalled how retired Staff Sgt. Travis Mills of the 82nd Airborne — a quadruple amputee — presented him with a question: What is it like to work in so many “difficult and dangerous situations?”
“Can you imagine? How does one answer a question like that from a guy like this?” Rowe asked on Facebook.
