Former congressman Anthony Weiner, who has infamously grappled with sexting scandals in the past, has done it again: this time favoriting a tweet about how a popular hookup application “will now be the ultimate sext machine.”
Weiner, whose bid for New York City mayor was sunk by his most-recent sexting scandal, favorited a tweet sent from Vox’s executive editor.

In a comment to BuzzFeed, which first noticed the interesting online behavior, Weiner said he was not sure how the tweet was favorited.
“There were a bunch of favorites there that I didn’t either didn’t recognize or mean to favorite,” he told the news website. “I’m not clear on how they got marked in the first place but I assume hit the little star thing accidentally as I scrolled through stuff.”
That particular favorite has since been scrubbed from his account, along with 25 others.
Weiner later sent out a tweet, making a joke of the whole ordeal:
In related news, I did buy 1000 shares of Tinder stock.
