Blaze TV personality Dana Loesch was deluged with even more hate mail than usual this week after revealing the cover of her new book, “Hands Off My Gun: Defeating the Plot to Disarm America.” But Loesch didn’t seem the slightest bit disturbed — in fact, she seemed amused.
Every week at the end of her show, Loesch holds dramatic readings of her hate mail, and this week was no exception.
Loesch started laughing uncontrollably after reading “I hope you get AIDS” in an “Elmo” voice, and took exception to a tweet reading: “your face isn’t that bad,but you got man leg’s and you’re stupid.”
“I will have you know that these are super dainty ankles and I took 16 years of classical ballet,” Loesch retorted, jokingly showing her leg to the camera. “So while I could crush your head like a walnut between my knees — which I won’t do because I’m a lady — I still have dainty ankles.”
She also considered giving the individual a grammar lesson.
Loesch is seen on the cover of her book wearing a red dress and black heels while holding an AR-15. One self-described comedian expressed regret on Twitter that “the gun has not yet blown off her face.”
“Ain’t he precious?” Loesch responded, suggesting that because of the man’s avatar, he has a face “only a mother could love.”
With less levity, Loesch added: “I’m a law abiding gun owner. I have done nothing illegal with my legally purchased, legally owned peaceful feminist equalizer. I have done nothing illegal with this.”
You can read a sneak peek of Loesch’s book, due to be released in October, at TheBlaze Books.
