Virginia Del. Joseph Morrissey, a Democrat, was indicted Monday on charges that he had engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl.
After appearing in court Tuesday, Morrissey, 56, tried to defend himself by reading some texts from the alleged victim.
It didn’t go over very well.

WTVR-TV cut away from Morrissey and the anchor apologized seconds after Morrissey read a message said to be from the teen, in which he said: “OMG, I just f***ed my boss.”
It seems that this is not the first time Morrissey has made a bad decision.
As the Washington Free Beacon reported:
Morrissey has a history of scandals and controversy. The legislator brought an assault rifle onto the floor of the House of Delegates in 2013 as a protest against the demise of a gun control bill. He has been jailed or detained five times for misconduct and his law license has been suspended and revoked for contempt.
Morrissey is single and has three daughters, each from a different woman.
Morrissey is facing felony charges of indecent liberties with a minor, possession and distribution of child pornography, and electronic solicitation of a minor, along with a misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, WJLA-TV reported.
