A Brazilian man was so fascinated by the 2006 World Cup that he decided to name his son after more than one of its players, Eurosport reports.

The seven-year-old’s name — Zinedine Yazid Zidane Thierry Henry Barthez Eric Felipe Silva Santos — is so long the child reportedly says he can’t remember it.

Petrucio Santos, the boy’s father, said he bestowed the many names on his child after visiting France.

“I was won over by the friendliness of French people,” he remarked.

But his youngster, known simply as “Zidane,” told the Brazilian newspaper O Globo that he would have preferred to be named “Luiz Gustavo.”
