One Fourth of July outing combined too much booze, a boat and a baby — and led to some disturbing events.

It started when police saw a boat driving erratically on Minnesota’s Lake Minnetonka around 8:30 p.m. local time Friday, KMSP-TV reported.

The boat was apparently circling a woman in the water and generating unsafe waves, so a police boat pulled out to investigate.

Police found 33-year-old Ryan David Krueger at the helm, circling one Jamie Schneeweis, with whom he had apparently had a “domestic dispute” that led to her jumping overboard.

Both appeared to be drunk.

Police said that Krueger yelled, “F*** you!” before speeding away the first time they attempted to stop his boat.

Other boats joined in a chase and Krueger was soon forced to stop, but when officers tried to board his craft he allegedly threw punches.

But it gets worse: Krueger was reportedly holding Schneeweis’ 9-month-old child, sans life jacket, during the incident.

As officers tried to pepper spray Krueger, they said, the man used the baby as a human shield.

He sped away a second time, but after 15 minutes was reportedly stopped for good and arrested; he blew a 0.15 BAC, police said.

He now faces charges of DWI, fleeing police, terroristic threats and child endangerment, KMSP-TV reported.

The child was reportedly taken into protective custody until Schneeweis sobered up.
