Want to try the ”Weighted Envoy Heave”?
Before you answer, here’s how University of Kentucky-bound Karl Towns Jr., ESPN’s third-ranked high school basketball center in the country, describes the grueling workout.
“My trainer would put weights in the back of my Envoy SUV and I would have to push it down the street. Then I’d jump in the trunk and he’d throw it in reverse and go back two blocks and I’d have to push it up again,” the reigning Gatorade Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year told USA Today, adding that it helps his explosiveness.
“I do that six times with no water breaks. It’s a really hard drill. Really, really hard.”
