It wasn’t his best throw.

Facing off with the Texas Rangers Monday, Yankees pitcher Shane Greene had an easy task: toss a ground ball hit toward the mound to the first baseman.

He failed, managing to underhand the ball way over his teammate’s head. Pundits immediately reacted online, with one outlet saying it “may be the worst throw” to first base “ever.”

Fortunately for him, however, he managed to escape the inning unscathed. Unfortunately, the Yankee went on to commit two more errors in his team’s 4-2 loss against the Rangers.
