Mini Coopers might be small cars, but they can do some considerable damage as seen in this CCTV footage of one barreling through a fence and into a building, narrowly missing two pedestrians in the process.

The car crashed on the campus of Hopwood Hall College in England Saturday, but the Greater Manchester Police Department recently released the footage of the accident hoping to find a witness.

The video shows two pedestrians walking toward the direction of the camera. In one moment, one of the walkers appeared to make a grab for the other. In the next moment, a car smashed right through their path and into a college building, leaving a spray of metal in its wake.

The 21-year-old driver was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital where he remains in stable condition, according to police.

What exactly led the driver to lose control of the Mini Cooper S is currently under investigation.

“We are investigating the circumstances leading up to this collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to call us as soon as possible,” Police Constable Simon McEvoy of Rochdale division of the police division said in a statement. “We are particularly keen to speak to the two witnesses in the CCTV who were walking on the pavement at the time of the crash and may be able to assist us with the investigation.”

In the video, the pedestrians appear to be fine and seemed to remain on the scene as others rushed over to help as well.
