During a chaotic moment in Ferguson, Missouri, an unidentified police officer was caught on video pointing his rifle at demonstrators and at one point threatening, “I will f***ing kill you.”

The officer is seen on video, uploaded on YouTube Wednesday, ordering several protesters to “get back” as they were apparently wandering into the streets, as were many other protesters at the time.

“I will f***ing kill you! Get back!” the officer is heard saying.

“You’re going to kill him?” a man behind the camera says. “What’s your name sir?”

“Go f*** yourself,” the cop responds, his rifle still raised.

Later in the video, another officer appears to make the cop lower his gun and leads him away from the scene.

“He had to be told by another officer to stop pointing his gun,” someone is heard saying.

The American Civil Liberties Union on Wednesday called for the highway patrol officer featured in the video to be identified and removed and later that day he was reportedly suspended indefinitely.

It should be noted that the source of the video, identified as Twitter user @Rebelutionary_Z, appears to be an activist with anti-cop views.
