Updated: Actor Drops Stunning Abuse Allegations Against Former 'SNL' Cast Mate Norm MacDonald in Bizarre Interview

"I think he hit her. That what I think."

During a radio interview meant to promote his weekend comedy gig in St. Louis, former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Chris Kattan leveled some serious charges against another former cast member, Norm Macdonald, claiming Macdonald "sexually abused" and "physically abused" an assistant named Lori Jo.

Speaking with KPNT radio's Rizzuto Show on Friday morning, Kattan was asked about a story claiming he and Macdonald were not on good terms. The host, Rizzuto, asked Kattan, "Is that true that you and Norm Macdonald hated each other?"

Kattan quickly responded, "We didn't hate each other."

The actor famous for his iconic characters, like the male dancer "Mango," did say Macdonald was "one of those people that was a little ticked off that I was doing well -- which I understand."

Kattan shared the story of a prank Macdonald played on him during a cross country flight that escalated to a confrontation during an SNL pitch meeting.

Garth Brooks was slated to guest host that week and Kattan claims he stated he wanted to do a "Mango" sketch. According to Kattan, Macdonald replied, "Nobody wants to do a sketch with a f-a-g."

Kattan claims he responded with "outspoken honesty" saying, "Norm, go sexually abuse your assistant."

After an uncomfortable moment of silence, Kattan continued, "Because that's what he did...usually."

Rizzuto asked, "Are you saying Norm Macdonald beat up his assistant?"

"I don't know, but she had a black eye and was like, that would happen every so often," replied Kattan.

The host, Rizzuto pressed Kattan to confirm his allegations, asking, "Wow, she really fell down the steps a lot?"

Appearing to distance himself from his previous statement, Kattan added, "No she did not, unless she fell down the steps and her pants were off, maybe."

Rizzuto spoke with TheBlaze on Friday and described the entire 45-minute interview as an "eight-car pile up that you could not stop watching."

The host also told us he was trying to get Kattan to confirm the charges he was leveling against his former co-star, repeating, "Wait, she slipped, fell, her pants were off"

"I think he hit her. That what I think. But that was a while ago," said Kattan.

TheBlaze attempted to contact Mr. Macdonald and Mr Kattan for comment. Neither one has returned our call.
