News of Donald Trump’s debate withdrawal broke just before MSNBC’s “Hardball with Chris Matthews” hit the airwaves, so the host opened the show discussing the Republican presidential frontrunner’s move — with a bit of a twist.
Matthews asked, “Who’s gonna watch a debate between the two Cuban guys?” Referencing GOP candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, Matthews added, “Who cares?”
