It appears young people now hold a favorable view of socialism.
A survey conducted late last month by YouGov found that 18-29 year olds support the economic system at greater numbers than capitalism.
“Do you hold a favorable or unfavorable opinion of socialism?” YouGov asked voters.
Among the 18 to 29 year olds, 43 percent responded that they held a favorable view. 26 percent of the age group differed, telling YouGov they held an unfavorable view of the economic system.
The 18 to 29 year old age bracket was the only group to hold a favorable view of socialism. The brackets of older individuals all held unfavorable views of socialism, with that sentiment being more firm as the age of the group increased.
