Donald Trump Hits Back, Mocks GOP Rival With Water Bottle Routine at Texas Rally: ‘It’s Rubio!’

Donald Trump roused thousands at a rally in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday – at the expense of his Republican rival Marco Rubio.

After receiving a surprise endorsement from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Trump piled on Rubio, using a water bottle to mock the Florida senator.

“It’s Rubio!” Trump shouted as he opened up a bottle and tossed out its contents around the stage.

Moments later after taking a swig, the billionaire businessman offered an exaggerated grab for the bottle — a play on the moment three years ago when Rubio sipped from a water bottle during his GOP response to Obama’s State of the Union address.

Earlier Friday, Rubio unleashed on Trump, calling the Republican frontrunner a “con-artist” and suggesting that he “wet” his pants during the Houston debate Thursday night.
