Watch What Happens When Actress Angelina Jolie Tries to Greet Large Crowd of Migrants at Refugee Camp

Actress Angelina Jolie was “mobbed” by hundreds of asylum seekers during a visit to a refugee camp in Piraeus, Greece, Wednesday, according to Reuters.

Reuters reported that Jolie, a U.N. special envoy, was “mobbed by cheering migrants” during the visit.

In a video released by Reuters, Jolie is seen in the midst of a crowd.

“I’m here to learn and speak with you,” Jolie said to a group of migrants before advising the crowd to be careful not to hurt a little girl.

“You need to back up,” Jolie said to the group repeatedly.

“The kids are going to get hurt,” the actress can be heard saying.

On Tuesday, during a visit to Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, Jolie called the refugee crisis “shameful,” according to the Daily Express.

“It is not wrong to feel unsettled faced by a crisis of such complexity and such magnitude,” Jolie said. “But we must not let fears get the better of us. We must not let fear stand in the way of an effective response that is in our long-term interests.”

“We cannot manage the world through aid relief in the place of diplomacy and political solutions,” she added.
