A picture of two little girls taking a nap together at the Presbyterian Day School in Clarksdale, Mississippi, has gone viral since it first was posted on Facebook on Tuesday.

The sweet photo shows two girls — one caucasian with blond hair and one African-American — as they lie next to each other taking their naps on their mats in a classroom while holding hands.

Since the Presbyterian Day School posted the picture to Facebook, more than 2,900 people have liked it, and it has been shared more than 1,500 times.

“Children have pure hearts unblemished by taught hatred,” wrote one commenter. “They are best friends and that’s all that matters.”

“Thanks. America needs moments like this,” another commenter wrote.

“Why in the world can’t everybody get along like this? Reach out a hand for someone to hold onto no matter what color that hand is or what station in life it comes from,” another person wrote. “What a beautiful and moving picture of the love for each other that Jesus Christ commanded us to exhibit. Thank you so much for sharing this!”
