Glenn Beck explains why he thinks Donald Trump is a ‘sociopath’

It is no secret Glenn Beck is not a fan of Donald Trump, but now the conservative radio host is taking his criticism a step further.

“Have you seen him during the last year and a half truly feel for someone that couldn’t help him? Truly connect on a human level,” Beck told PBS host Charlie Rose, who asked the commentator for an indication that Trump could be a sociopath. “[A] sociopath is somebody who doesn’t really see the human experience in anyone else, and I haven’t see that in him. I haven’t seen him deeply affected by the human condition in an individual.”

This is not the first time the controversial personality has attacked Trump in such a manner. Earlier this year, Beck blasted Trump, calling him a “narcissistic psychopath,” adding that four years of a Trump presidency “will lead to civil war.”

“The psychiatric community needs to step up and address what we are witnessing,” Beck wrote after seeing one of Trump’s primary debate performances, for which the billionaire businessman was often praised. “This man is a narcissistic psychopath. That is NOT name calling, that is a search for a diagnosis. If he is not then he is merely a game show host that is trying to get ratings. If that is true, that, in and of itself, is a sign of a deep disturbance.”

Beck, then a supporter of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, said that if Republican voters nominate Trump, “this country is surely lost.”

And he’s sticking with his diagnosis, though he changed from “psychopath” to “sociopath.”  Beck told Rose he sees no “sense of vulnerability” in the Republican candidate, which he described as “frightening.”

Earlier in the interview, Beck told the PBS anchor that he does not think Trump believed he would ever make it to the general election as the GOP’s nominee.
