Sunday marked the official three-year anniversary since Senate Democrats last adopted a budget. The office of Senate Budget Committee Republican Ranking Member Sen. Jeff Sessions released a statement to mark the occasion that tallies up some notable statistics from when the Senate’s Democratic majority last passed a budget:
1096 …………………………. Days since the Senate majority last passed a budget
$10.4 trillion ………………..Total federal spending since a budget was last adopted
$4.5 trillion ………………… New gross debt accumulated over that time
$15,000 ……………………… Additional debt per person over that time
$39,000 ……………………… Additional debt per family over that time
$626 billion ……………….. Net interest payments on the debt since a budget was last adopted
1……………………………….Budget mark-ups scheduled and then suddenly cancelled at the last minute by the Senate majority this year
0……………………………….Number of Democrat Senators who voted for any budget in the last tow year
0……………………………….Number of votes in the House and Senate in support of President Obama’s budgets this year and last
511……………………………Number of combined votes against
51……………………………..Number of votes need to pass a budget in the Senate
0……………………………….Number of Democrat budget plans brought to the Senate floor in 2010
0……………………………….Number brought to the floor in 2011
0………………………………..Number brought to the floor in 2012
$17 trillion …………….. Unfunded resulting from the President’s health care law
$100 trillion …………… Total unfunded obligations of the federal government
2024 ………………………… Projected year that Medicare will go bankrupt
2033 …………………………. Projected year that Social Security will go bankrupt
8.2 …………………………. Percent of workforce currently unemployed
38 …………………………. Months that unemployment has been above 8 percent
22,774,000 …………………. Approximate total number of workers currently unemployed and underemployed
To protest the lack of fiscal responsibility by some legislators on Capitol Hill, many have taken to Twitter, commenting on all that has gone on since, and frustration with #3YearsNoBudget.

Perhaps during #3YearsNoBudget Senate Democrats and the president may have been just preoccupied with more important matters?
Like “Senate Democrats retreat at Nationals Park and the 573-acre Boar’s Head Inn estate just outside Charlottesville, but still #3YearsNoBudget.“ Or ”President Obama can play over 90 rounds of golf in his first term as Senate Dems go #3YearsNoBudget.”
What are some of the best #3YearsNoBudget tweets you can come up with? Make sure to write in comment section and tweet!

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 9:48amwhy have no statesmne stepped up to call out Harry Reid and the Barac Obama for their totla lack of leadership in this area!! This is th ebiggest issue of the next election in my mind! I would love to see a “Non-Budget” clock become as popular as the debt clock we so often see. It is only through a budget process that we can dig ourselves out of this mess!

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 7:27amHey hey hey – doesn’t anybody listen to Debbie Blabbermouth-Schultz?! It’s the Republicans that cause the problems! Clearly the Republicans are using some kind of super mind-control ESP or ray gun on Harry and the Democratic “leadership”.

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 7:15amForce a budget by getting the balanced budget amendment, but this won’t happen till conservatives control the house and senate. But by then our republic will collapse, buy the hands of corruption.
We the people will have a strong decision to make very soon famine with freedom or with chains.

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 6:51amOne person (Reid) should not have the power to table any proposals. They should all be voted on
Report Post »no matter what. Who made the law the allows Reid to ignore bills being passed and sent onto the Senate?

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 7:11amHow about Senator Obama and Senator Reid going straight to Prison or HEDoubleL?
This Democrat Senate is treasonous as HeDoubleL. They are more concerned with trying to put Roger Clemens behind bars for lying to them, than passing a budget that they are required to do by law.
The Senate and Campaigner in Chief Lie to you every day! Why are we not demanding that they go to jail, or tar and feather them at the very least?

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 6:36amI want to know why there is no rule of law that forces the senate to pass a budget every single year, without fail. They should not be allowed to do anything until a budget is passed and in place. I cannot believe any American would vote for a group who refuse to work inside a budget and are okay with passing legislation without even reading it first. Why…..why would anyone vote for people who operate this way? It makes no sense at all. Reid should be escorted off the floor by security and put into a cell until the congress passes a budget. Then fire him and send back to his ridiculous cowboy poetry classes. These people are such a waste fo time and money. OUR money.

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 2:45amWhen they say Congress has poor approval ratings, the Senate is mostly driving that engine, not the House. It’s unbelievable how incompetent, pathetic, and inept the Senate is. They have a ton of bills passed by the House the Senate refuse to vote on. The reason why government can’t function is because the Senate is on vacation 24/7. They purposely never pass a budget. How is it possible Senate members is receiving a paycheck?? Is it possible to get paid to be inept??

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 2:35amWhere the F*** is the republican establishment and why aren’t they loudly demanding action every single day? You hear OF them more than FROM them. Very few exceptions.
What the F*** is wrong with this LS media, aside from them just hating America and cheerleading her death? Well I guess that speaks for itself.
Other than conservatives raising a stink about Harry’s dereliction of duty seems like everyone else’s eyes are glazed over with dreams of entitlements and free stuff.

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 1:05amThe federal budget no longer exists because there are one trillion dollars less in receipts than expenses and no one can balance that. Because congress is no longer a working congress, it will not work to reduce expenses and increase revenue. That’s what all the proposals are-an attempt to reconcile income and expenses. There is so much infighting and bickering nothing gets done. It’s like a playpen gone wild, isn’t it?

Posted on May 1, 2012 at 11:52pmAs far as I am concerned, this is the Democrats fault.. when they had the House and the Senate, they could have done anything… and they chose not to do anything… The Republican’s have brought quite a few bills to the Senate and good old Harry told everyone to vote no, before it was ever read.. but we all know that Democrats dn’t read anything… as Pelosi said, vote it in and then find out whats in it! How can Democrts blame Republican’s.. when its so obvious who is to blame! Vot em out!

Posted on May 1, 2012 at 11:31pmAlright, alright since you want to know, Enos said behold let us make man in our image, in our likeness. So, Enos placed Adam in the Garden of Eden, of course knowing that Adam would get tempted by his wife who was tempted by the serpent, and thus their eyes were open and they were ashamed of their nakedness, and had come to know Good, and evil – thus therefore it was at that moment man was created in the Lord’s image.
