$400,000 Crash: Maserati Drives Under Jeep, Before Hitting Luxury Porsche and Mini Cooper

$400,000 Crash: Maserati Drives Under Jeep, Before Hitting Luxury Porsche and Mini Cooper

(Photo: Local10.com)

Depending on your character, parking garage ramps can be dizzying or tempting.  For the driver of a Maserati GranTurismo Friday night, it was definitely the latter.

Witnesses told local news reporters that the Maserati was leaving a parking garage ramp going too fast, when the driver lost control and literally drove his luxury car underneath a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

But it didn’t stop there.

The collision of the vehicles then spilled over onto a neighboring Porsche and Mini Cooper Countryman.

No one was injured, but the damage could be around $400,000.  But the pictures?  Priceless.

      It just shows you what could happen to the rich when they fire the limo driver because Obama‘s tax reform won’t let you deduct his salary anymore. So the rich have to drive their own cars in public.

      People who see a headline, then read the story (you would think), then take the time to post a comment, only to lament “why is this news?’ or “slow news day” or any other nonsensical statement must be very lonely, very bored, or very dumb. The site has the capacity to post all kinds of stories, and the mindless comments of millions of readers. Doesn’t interest you? Skip it and post your preachings on stories that are relevant. I can’t believe I just wasted time with this reply!

    This headline drives me nuts. The maserati did NOT drive under the Jeep. SOMEBODY DROVE the maserati under the Jeep, At least here they mentioned in the article that a driver lost control. Still drives me crazy how they write the headlines for some of these stories. This reminds me of a story I read when doing a paper for school. I was writing on Journalist bias and sensationalization. The story was about how this “SUV” went out of control and crossed the median, before getting launched through the air on the other side of the median. It then sheered off a telephone pole, bounced back onto the road and hit a shool bus full of kids. They never once mentioned that there was even a driver at all, or the fact that he was driving well over 100 MPH in a thunderstorm. it was somehow all the fault of that “evil SUV”.

      Well when you own the site, then you can dictate the headlines. It is called a “teaser”. If you are whining about how The Blaze title articles, then you need some counseling. Gas prices are rising, millions of people unemployed now, including me, and you are worried about a headline. Priorities, reschedule your priorities.

      @RLEWISPITT
      I agree with you. Poor skills often displayed here (and elsewhere). Like for instance, do you think the author could be troubled to tell us where this took place?
      Not important, you say? Well, important enough to the author of the source article to title theirs: “Maserati crashes into SUV in Miami – Crazy crash draws crowds outside the Epic Hotel”.
      Mediocrity in America is now the rule rather than the exception. Sad.

      Maybe the article should have been titled, “Blue 2012 Maserati Granturismo Sport driven by 45 yr old white male lost control and hit a 2012 white Jeep Grand Cherokee and pushed into a red 1967 luxury Porsche (no a VW Beetle) and a 2007 Mini Cooper, but cause of the accident is unknown. Read more for details.” Would that be more to your high intellectual liking? What’s really annoying is these pompous a$$ highly educated, low common sense individuals that come on to a site and complain about the most trivial things, then get upset and begin to spout there educational prowess to justify their superiority over the little uneducated people.
      I’d venture to say that the reason this country is going to hell-in-a-hand basket is because our highly educated intellectually superior elites spend more time grooming themselves in the mirror and less time doing something about our situation. I know of at least a hundred people that are no where‘s near RLEWISPITT’s education level, but have accomplished more for this nation that his inflated ego ever will.
