5 Members of the U.S. Military May Also Be Involved in Secret Service Prostitution Scandal

The United States Southern Command announced Saturday that five members of the U.S. Military stationed in Colombia violated curfew, and may be involved in the “inappropriate conduct” that left twelve Secret Service agents embroiled in a prostitution scandal.

Politico reports:

USSOUTHCOM commander Gen. Douglas Fraser said that he is ‘disappointed by the entire incident and that this behavior is not in keeping with the professional standards expected of members of the United States military.’

White House press secretary Jay Carney, in an on-camera briefing in Cartagena Saturday afternoon said regarding the military personnel that ‘It is our understanding this is part of the same incident’ as the Secret Service.

Carney said the episode ‘has not’ been a distraction for the president.

According to the Washington Post, the incident began late Wednesday night:

At least one agent had a sexual encounter in his room with a local woman, who demanded to be paid afterward, according to the account. It is unclear whether the agent knew the woman was a prostitute and, when he declined to give her money, the woman reacted angrily and created a disturbance at the hotel, said those familiar with the matter, who have close ties to the Secret Service…

The woman eventually complained to hotel staff and local police authorities, who notified the U.S. Embassy, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely about an ongoing investigation. Two of them learned of details directly from agency employees and the other was briefed on the matter.

The U.S. diplomats informed the Secret Service, and the Colombian authorities provided a list of all U.S. officials in the hotel, including at least five military personnel. Col. Scott Malcom, a spokesman for the Department of Defense, confirmed that five military employees were in violation of a curfew that night. They remain in Cartagena and have been confined to quarters in the hotel.

The president is in Colombia for the weekend to attend the Summit of the Americas.  His comprehensive security plan remains intact, the twelve Secret Service agents having been replaced.

Col. Scott Malcom has assured that “there will be a full investigation” when they return.

      Well how could the Dems or Prez be upset about any of this. I mean don‘t they get totally ticked at the idea of respecting any symbol of the united states and it’s integrity? Aren’t they the ones all for “if it feels good do it”? I mean what happen to stay out of my bedroom!? I would think they would be defending them and holding them up as model Americans of Service.

Every time there is a scandal, he is doing something he doesn’t want the American people to know about. Examples: Shirley Sherrod — while the media was focused on this scandal, he signed the financial reform bill into existence in summer of 2010. On the 31st of Dec 2011, he signed the Nat’l Defense Authorization Act and the Enemy Expatriation Act into existence. We lose our liberties and he expands the fed gov’t into our lives.       Tim obviously led a charmed childhood. One with no older siblings padding his wardrobe with threadbare hand-me-downs that had to have knees and elbows patched.

      Those new patches sewn over old tears worked surprisingly well in my culvert-crawling, ditch-diving, tree-shimmying, unbudging-boulder-nudging, and power-sliding-into-home-on-my-patched-knees-over-kneecap-grinding-scree-and-gravel-for-the-glorious-crown-of-3rd-Grade-Kickball-King childhood.

      Those patches were must-haves for growing boys where I’m from, particularly (but not exclusively) those with older siblings. And not just for the wardrobe-life-extension (i.e. $$) factor, but (from a patch-kneed explorer’s perspective) for the KNEECAP-life-extension factor. Those patches were like built-in knee-pads there whenever we needed them most.

      And that‘s not even to mention the Keep On Truckin’, Peace Sign, or raised-black-fisted “Right On!” iron-on patches.

      Or the flowing, star-spangled, oncoming wave of a pink and silver bar of psychedelic sheet music replete with glittery quarter notes and treble clefs – all emanating from the hole in the center of a big cartoon acoustic guitar played by an generic, blonde-haired, shades-wearing California Super Dude Hippy with fairy boots, green jumpsuit, and big, wind-sock-like yellow scarf. Okay, that one was strictly for me. It was one of several patches I had on my little overalls at 5 years old, circa 1974, any of which I can recall with a disturbing clarity.

      Of course this is a smoke screen. Every time this president is doing something that he doesn’t want the American people to know about it, he uses or reates a crisis that the media will focus on and provide irrelevant information that draws our attention away from what he is doing.       One ******, who complained about not being paid, and one agent, so why were 12 agents sent home? Were they all canned for one guy’s actions? Then suddenly, it’s 11 hookers. Did none of them get paid? Were they all in the same room? Or did her action bring attention to the rest (it doesn’t seem likely that 12 agents – all on the same shift, presumably – all took a ****** for the night, does it)? .

    The SS scandal should have been kept under wrap at least until Obama was back in the US. The replacement detail didn’t have the time to do the necessary prep work to ensure the safety of Obama. Yes, the recalled detail did the prep work, but are their notes to be trusted?

    Well, this is what you get, when you elect the most immoral, lying, Communist President, this country has ever seen……and to think, we all used to complain when Bill Clinton was in the White House……by today’s standards, he would be a fine, upstanding individual.

      This is not about Obummer.

      This is about the US president’s private security force being compromised by prostitutes in a hostile environment.

      This is worse than the sniper bullets hitting white house windows last year.
