Unfurling “Free Palestine” banners and carrying signs decrying the “racist state of Israel,” hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators rallied in New York City on Thursday ahead of the planned bid for U.N. membership.
With chants that included, “1-2-3-4, occupation no more!“ and ”5-6-7-8, Israel is a terrorist state!” demonstrators marched from Times Square to U.N. headquarters, where the General Assembly is scheduled to meet Sept. 20.

The correct term is “breed”. All dogs are Canis Lupis, the same as the Wolf. All horses are the same species, too, regardless of breed.
I agree “race” is a stupid term. It seems to want to encompass “breed” as well as possibly “culture” and “religion”. There have been times when entire cultures were so homogeneous as to be the same race, but many times when that wasn’t true, as well.
I’m thinking modern day and the Roman Empire. Today, many societies are too multi-cultural (literal meaning of the word, not the Socialist meaning) and Rome mixed societies together, too.

Israeli Arabs vote in Israel’s elections, have representatives in the Israeli Parliament, sit on Israeli courts and on the Israeli Supreme Court, and serve as tenured professors teaching in Israeli colleges and universities. The Arab citizens of Israel have more rights, and enjoy more freedom, education, and economic opportunity than the inhabitants of any Arab or Muslim state.

We are deadly to deal with when we don’t engage in nation building. I spent yesterday with a young man who is in the US Army reserve. He has been trying for 18 months to be deployed.

The only tweak I would add is that I don’t think Israel will wait to be attacked. I think once they have the intellegence that shows they are about to be attacked, they will first strike. As well they should. I pray this will hold off until 2013 and that we have a pro-Israel, pro-truth, pro-common sense president at that time who will come to Israel’s aid.

Israel is a viable and robust nation and economy because of the qualities of it’s people and the goodness of its society. Because of that, they can afford to actually manufacture what it needs and buy other technology to defend themselves.
