At least six people were killed and dozens injured in northeast Italy early Sunday after what was said to be the strongest earthquake to shake the region in hundreds of years.
The magnitude-6.0 temblor struck at 4:04 a.m., with its epicenter about 22 miles north of Bologna.
An Italian official told the Associated Press it was the worst quake the area had seen since the 1300s, leaving cracked bell towers, chunks of church facades lying in the streets and caved-in roofs.

Posted on May 20, 2012 at 11:45amI have much family here and cannot get hold of them. I woke up to this news, please pray for my family and the rest of the folks there. I am trying to not let my nerves get the better of me but some of my aunts just landed 2 days ago to visit my cousins and extended family. Prayers would be appreciated.

Posted on May 20, 2012 at 11:32amThings appear to be going crazy worldwide. Fear of more wars , earthquakes , economic collapse and more. We live in a bubble here in the states but even we have seen increase of tornados leaving thousands homeless and hundred dead or injured. Our goverments are broke both federal and state but our politicians are living the good life. Some pretend to be Christian but they are not. You know a tree by the fruit it bears good or bad . I seen a lot of bad. A President who tries to put words in the mouth of GOD. Liberals do not like sound doctrine but will misqoute the Bible to fool the ignorant mass’s . Do not be fooled by these people read the Bible for yourselfs do not be ignorant. Read matthew chap 24. May the Lord watch over our children. Pray for Israel ans her people.

Posted on May 20, 2012 at 10:10amOnce again pinbrains — I write something, you post it, cause you’re a bunch of incorrigible pushovers. Whatever happened to the poster Jenny Lind? I love her/his posts.
A French guy wrote me off YouTube. An artist. That is happening everywhere. These angels who are saving a fallen world.

Why? Why why? Figure it out for yourself. Did God smite them? I don’t think so. We all have our own baggage to focus on. But for me prayer helps put things in perspective and draws mercy to all those affected the good, the bad, and the ugly such as yourself.

Posted on May 20, 2012 at 10:02amOh my. It looks like God is extremely itchily perturbed and tetchy over what has become of Greece and Rome, two places that have FORGOTTEN PHILOSOPHY –
as there is no difference at all between true religion and true philosophy. Or false religion and false philosophy.
While the rest of you are in your various hells made entirely of fear, stress, anxiety, and the casual normal swallowing of lies, ya goofs, I am on the screen porch of my Ma’s house typing on my new used wireless laptop, probably about to go to KFC for lunch. After seeing the congressman from Janesville for the second time today on TV. He looks like a holy vampire with a tender conscience, who has kind of forgotten how to worry, laughing at everything, proud and chosen.
An esoteric book I recommend to all of you: Heliotropium: Conformity of the Human Will to the Divine.

Posted on May 20, 2012 at 1:06pmI love your posts because I love the original Jenny Lind. I’ve read her life history, her letters. She was LIFE. A beautiful woman, told constantly that she was ugly, with the divine gift of song. She had one of the happiest lives in history. Your posts…remind me of the original Jenny Lind.
Now don’t get all nervous and self-concious, because I’m about to scram, to leave this site. It is so utterly wonderful, though! I’m out of the lowest hell, the worst psych wards in Washington, DC, and the real posters, the non-trolls, are back on the Blaze! On the Feast of the Ascension!!!
