70 Facts About Our Economy Obama Probably Doesn’t Want You To See

70 Facts About The Economy That Obama Doesnt Want You To See

A stunning collection of 70 facts about the U.S. economy just posted on the web is probably not going to make it into the next campaign ad from the folks at Obama for America. However, you might want to read it.

TheBlaze has culled 10 from the list of 70 here:

  • Speaking of “no faith in the US Dollar” – The price of gold when Obama was inaugurated, $850 an ounce. Today, gold is over $1500.
  • A stunning amount spent on stupid studies like Why do chimps throw their poop? – Almost $600,000 of your tax dollars was sent to the folks who studied chimpanzee poop tossing, plus $198,195 paid to find out if “tweeting” makes people happy… It’s all HERE.

The full list, complete with links to the supporting stories, can be found here.

A president can be impeached at any time, he just has to commit a high crime, or a misdemeanor, you just have to have a congress willing to do it’s job and abhold their oath of office, apparently we don’t.

There was a story on Fox. Someone had collected 3.3 million dollars in tax refunds. The IRS claimed, “There were no red flags.” If, to them, 2,137 tax refund checks being sent to a single address isn’t a red flag, I suppose the IRS doesn’t view any evidence as a red flag… Well, then again, they did send a bunch of armed agents to kick in some guy’s door for a 10 cent accounting error. IRS’s priorities are SERIOUSLY screwed up. They could have just sent a letter, but even a stamp is worth more than the 10 cents he owed. How much did it cost to send a bunch of agents to collect 10 cents? Waste, waste, and more waste.

The President can be impeached at any time. Look at Johnson, the president after Abe Lincoln. This one is guilty of not being eligible to hold the office. The trouble is that he needs to be convicted in the Senate before he would be forced out of office. The chances that will happen with a Democratic controlled Senate are nil. What we need is a definition of the term “Natural Born Citizen” since no one remembers the book Laws of Nations. One of the first things that needs to happen on January 21 is for congress to overturn every regulation and executive order signed by this president during the last four years!

Myself, wife, 3 sons and 3 daughter in-laws all Democrats are doing this as requested by one of my sons. We’ve all been or know someone that has been affected by Obamas policys. This is why it was so close when Carter was running for reelection in all the poleing and the race was so close. After the vote came in Carter lost worse than anybody ever had in modern times.

——————————New data from CMS shows that more than 5.2 million older Americans and people with disabilities have benefited from the savings since the law went into effect March 23, 2010.—— More than 1 million people in the “doughnut hole” coverage gap have saved an average of $629 this year alone.

The health care law is helping seniors who are fighting to keep up with skyrocketing health care costs, says AARP Executive Vice President Nancy LeaMond.————————– “These real savings for older Americans struggling with the ever-rising costs of prescription drugs are evidence that the Affordable Care Act is already improving the lives of millions of Americans,” she says.

Spending money on research is money well spent.

I am more upset with the amount we spend on the Military.

That $300 Billion we owe China could be paid off in 5 months worth of the annual budget allotted to Defense.
      689 Billion dollars.

Don’t yell about a 600,000 dollar research project when you’re willing to throw 1 MILLION times that amount at Military. That’s right, you could fund over 1 million “stupid poop throwing studies” a year for the Defense Budget.

Why ask those [Democrats/left wingnuts] to stop…?
I think the republicans / conservatives should just let them all keep on talking!
Then they will become (by default) the republicans and conservatives best ally! I say just let them keep flapping their gums! Let them keep digging their own holes!
They are so busy making up issues that don’t exist (who said manufacturing is dead in America…LOL), they just don’t know when to shut up…it’s so funny if you stop and think about it.
Then all the republicans and conservatives need to do is shine light on the huge lack of credibility being spewed about by the Democrats and left wingnuts.
It should be very easy for even the “uninformed” American public to see the unbelievable lack of credibility the Democrats and left wingnuts are willing to demonstrate as their standard to live up to.

We could have helped seniors with their prescriptions without a 2700 page bill. If we actually did help them. It hasn’t helped my parents and I have done their finances for several years now.
That doesn’t make the 2700 page bureaucratic wet dream a good bill.
And the Dow peaked at almost 14000 in 2007 and fell of course during the financial collapse in 2008. Hanging that around Bush’s neck is fine, even though he didn’t have much control over that. Markets are cyclical over long periods of time with not much impact by who is President. So claiming Obama is responsible for the somewhat lukewarm return of the Dow is just flat false. It is well known that the stock market is propped up by the Federal Reserve as evidenced by the disconnect between real market indicators and the market itself. It shouldn’t be as high as it is given current conditions, at least from a historical perspective.
As for the Senator involved in impropriety, I am not surprised. Your telling me a politician got a ******? No way! And if your feathers are ruffled by the double standard, welcome to the party. I don’t care. I don’t even know who the guy is.
Everything you wrote is a great reason to vote for Obama if you’re stupid or mentally ill. Keep telling yourself the koolaid laced with poison will make it all better.

A great book on how the communists have taken over our institutions – churches, schools, businesses, government, Military and now our court system is

    – The Naked Truth: The Naked Communist – Revisited
    by James C. Bowers

    http://www.amazon.com/The-Naked-Truth-Communist-Revisited/dp/093616316X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339153878&sr=8-1

He discusses how W. Cleon Skousen ( author of the 5000 Year Leap ) was an FBI agent for 16 years and was concerned about the implementation of what he felt were the top 45 stated goals of the communists at that time. You will be shocked how successfully their plans have been completed. A MUST READ book for any freedom loving American. Please pass on to others when done reading – SPREAD THE WORD

Also – A MUST SEE – We were warned – watch the youtube video of Yuri Bezmenov, from the 80′s with G. Edward Griffin ( Jekyll Island author ). A Soviet KGB defector, he tells how it was his job to infiltrate these institutions and place communist supporters in positions of leadership and power. He was successful in doing so. Mind boggling stuff.

Other polls show oblama as losing his ‘likability’. The LSM is not above lying and (for some unknown reason) support the looser-in-chief. Yet, the published polls show oblama and Romney even. Wait until after the republican convention and Romney begins outspending oblama. (Don‘t forget to subtract between 5 and 9 percentage points from oblama’s published polls).

If you don’t believe this country is 50% moron, just watch an episode or two of “Repo Games.”

The premise of the show is they serve a repo order on someone, but after they get the car/truck attached to the tow truck, they then go knock on the delinquent’s door and make them an offer that only a moron would refuse: “We are repoing your vehicle, but we’re giving you the chance to not only keep it today, but also to have us pay it off completely so you will keep it free and clear forever – all you have to do is answer 3 out of 5 trivia questions correctly.” So, you can play the game and maybe keep your car or they can just go ahead and repo it. Would you believe that some of these fools have to be TALKED INTO PLAYING???? It’s true. Many of them act like the most disgusting and vile creatures you have ever seen. Anyway, the depths of stupidity and moral bankruptcy are put on full display very often.

Yesterday, I saw a white 30-something woman who is a FOURTH GRADE TEACHER miss all three of the first three questions and lose her car, complete with cursing out the host and flipping off the cameras. Here are the 3 questions she, A TEACHER, failed to answer correctly:

      1) In sports, what makes someone a “southpaw?”
      2) What South American country has 2700 miles of coast, but is only 150 miles wide?
      3) Which American president was killed in a duel and can be found on the 10 dollar bill?

Question 1, she almost got right but talked herself out of it. She said, “I think it means they are left-handed… no, wait… ummm… no, it means they can throw with either hand.” I don‘t fault her horribly for missing this one as teachers aren’t expected to know much about sports.

Question 2, she answered “Cuba.” Cuba?????? Since when is Cuba in South America?

Question 3, her answer: “Ummm… Was Madison a president? I’m gonna go with Madison.”

So anyway, this teacher and developer of young minds then proceeded to throw a tantrum, flipping off the cameras and cursing a blue streak.

Then there was this middle-aged black woman and her teenaged daughter (both of them unwed-mothers). This woman had three cars in her driveway and they had repo orders for TWO of them. A DOUBLE-REPO! So, first they were all attitude and spite, but the host talked them into playing.

During introductions, the host asked mom what she does for a living. “Ummm….uhhh….ummm….I, uh, I, like, ummm, uh… I umm help people out… you know, like umm, if they are sick and stuff.” The host then asked the daughter what she does. Her answer: “I, umm… uh… I get a check. I have income every month.”

She also went 3-up 3-down as follows:

Question 1) What U.S. president is known as “The Father of Our Country?” The mom looked like a deer in the headlights, so the daughter chimes in with “Bill Clinton… George Bush.“ The mom continues trying to think and the daughter continues to repeat ”Bill Clinton” over and over again (at least 10 times). Finally the mom says, “Lincoln,“ after very seriously considering going with ”Bill Clinton.” When informed that it was actually George Washington, mom says, “dat little white boy, I knew dat….”

Question 2) What three colors are on the British flag? The daughter went through color after color, “Orange, green, and white; blue, black, and green; orange, yellow, blue,” etc. ad nauseum. The mom finally answered “Green, white, and red.” When the host informed her that it was red, white, and blue, she told him he was wrong because that’s the American flag.

Question 3) In a grocery store, what product would you find classified as a “Granny Smith” or a “Red Delicious?” Mom’s answer: Potato.

      REPO!

Mom and daughter both cursing a blue streak, they then bring in a second tow truck and back it up to the second car to repo it. Mom says “What’s this?” He explains that he has a repo order on it too, but he is going to give her the chance to play again to keep this one free and clear. She and daughter storm off and refuse to play, cursing and yelling.

      DOUBLE-REPO!

Most of this stuff is either authorized and paid for in the budgets of federal agencies, either directly in the law, as an earmark, or as the result of a program set up by an agency under the direction of Congress. The poop throwing was probably not funded explicitly, but through a program that was in the budget for the agency that supplied the money.

The thing that jumped out at me in the “Wastebook 2011” report as not belonging there was #98 – the one about $1 bills.

We still have $1 bills – even thought they are more expensive than coins – because people still seem to want them. Does it make any sense to save money trying to force people to use $1 coins that they don’t want?

As far as #69 – the high risk research program – is concerned, that may well unnecessarily duplicate other programs, but performing and funding high-risk research is something that I think that the government should be doing, at least in selected areas. There are a number of areas where foreign governments are pumping money into their industries to try to help them take market share away from the US. Supporting high-risk research – stuff that would have a huge payoff if it works but is too high risk for a company to invest in – seems like a reasonable thing to do, primarily to thin out the possibilities, remove the worst of the risk and let private industry spend their time and money trying to develop something they can sell.

Part of the problem –good for government, but a recipe for disaster for the paying public, is the auto-matic budget expansion each year. Even when there’s a left over balance in the budget it must be spent or next years budget will shrink. So naturally what do you think they do?

The President hasn’t stopped any of the spending because quite simply, the President can’t. Under the Constitution, the President can only sign the budget or veto it. Congress passed a line item veto back in the 90s (during Clinton, who if I’m not mistaken used it), but the SCOTUS told them (rightly so) that if you want the President to be able to line item veto, you must amend the Constitution.

If the President agrees with the majority of the spending, they’re going to sign the budget. They most certainly aren’t going to veto an entire budget due to a $600,000 expenditure, especially since the budget is in the trillions of dollars range. I think the people would freak if there was a President Ron Paul that said “I know we need to spend these billions of dollars on X, but there was a $600,000 expenditure of studying monkeys throwing poop. I couldn’t in good conscience sign the budget with that there.” That’s just an insane line of thinking (I made it Ron Paul for no real reason, it could be anybody).

The point is that throwing out an entire budget over something like that would be like having a fight over a $5 item when you’re spending $2000 per month.

Pretty sure the line item veto has died since then.

The deficit equals a mind numbing amount of money, but lets reduce that to comprehensible numbers…One million seconds = 12 days (approx.) One billion seconds = 32 years One trillion seconds equals 32,000 years. Our present deficit is 16 trillion dollars. 16 trillion X 32,000 = 512 Quadrillion or 512,000,000,000,000,000 seconds is more than a few lifetimes. (if you’re lucky you may live three trillion seconds.) And they are on target to go to 25 trillion? GDP is a paltry 1.7% Apparently the entire planet is only valued at 55 trillion. Sorry, it’s still incomprehensible.

Romney does have a plan. The problem is it continues the massive spending of Obamas administration, well Romney does cut ten percent of future growth (pathetic). Romney will allow the Fed to operate untethered (opposite of free markets) and continue the quantitative easing and artificially low interest rates that will inevitably turn this recession into a depression (dollar bubble). Thats why Paul supporters will not fall in line, because despite the rhetoric, the fact is Romney will be equally destructive to the American economy as Obama (both Keynesians). That is the biggest threat to our Liberty and country (bankruptcy). Support Paul, free markets and the Constitution and hope for the best friends.

The Federal government has two responsibilites, defend the American people for all enemies foreign and domestic and to facilitate trade. It seems to me these are the only two things the Federal government is not doing. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan degenerated into conflicts with “national rebels”. The real enemy is those islamists who preach “death to America” , you know, the guys who get invited to the White House. And when it comes to trade, the Feds are the biggest obstacle in developing businesses and helping the economy grow.
Legislate to facilitate not regulate. The Road to Fascism is paved with governement interventions.
