‘$823,200 to Study Genitalia Washing’: Sen. Coburn Releases Gov’t Waste Report

$823,200 to Study Genitalia Washing: Sen. Coburn Releases Govt Waste Report$175 million to maintain an unused monkey house. $1.8 million for a museum dedicated to old Las Vegas signs. $615,000 to digitize a Grateful Dead collection. And $823,200 to study genitalia washing in South Africa. Those are just some of the projects that Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) uses as examples of government waste in his annual “Wastebook” report released today.

“During these difficult times when families are struggling to make ends meet, the federal government can best assist hard working Americans by keeping their taxes low and not burdening them with higher debt,” Coburn says in the report’s introduction. “Congress can do so by not spending money we do not have on things we do not need, like the over $11.5 billion of examples provided in this report.”

“As you look at these examples, ask yourself: at a time when we are borrowing over $44,000 for every person in the country, are these items a priority and are they a federal responsibility?” he encourages readers. “Many taxpayers will no doubt agree that the wasteful spending uncovered in this report is not what they had in mind when they filed their taxes in April. Few will find that they represent the best our government has to offer.”

According to The Hill, some of the projects mentioned in the report were paid for using controversial earmarks.

Interested parties can read the entire report for more examples, including: $224,000 for a bus statue; $609,160 for a zoo to develop a “Wolfquest” video game; and $997,766 to install poetry at zoos nationwide.

Well-intentioned people across the political spectrum will argue about the best way to get us back on track. But we can all agree that cutting wasteful and low- priority spending from the budget is not only sensible, but essential,” Coburn says.

Yes it was!! What is so sad is that we were too dumb and trusting to check out where “The Government” was spending our money! The ‘$823,200 to Study Genitalia Washing’ is probably just part of the 23 million the U.S. promised them if they adopted that new more communist, marxist constitution that made abortions legal…………and then, of course, muslims must wash their genitalia each time before they pray! New game now!! We are not nearly as trusting and are really paying attention to where the money is going!

And – this kind of garbage is really old news – same sh**, different year. It’s not an Obama thing, or a Democrat thing – it’s almost all politicians everywhere. A lot of these projects are money laundering at the highest level – ways for politicians to “give back” to big campaign donors, or family members, or random back scratchers they met along the way. You think it looks corrupt and ridiculous on the surface? If anyone had the time and inclination to dig into each item, I bet they’d find a veritable gold mine of corruption and treachery.

Our founding fathers knew that public debt destroys empires. They and presidents after them fought to keep public debt non-existent or at a minimum. If debt was needed, they sought to pay it off quickly. We have had decades of politicians who sought to maintain their seats of power by promising the underprivileged and uninformed voters entitlements and false promises. Now, the entire nation must pay for their self-interest and treason to America. The elitist oligarchs who advocate New World Order have strategized an economic plan to make it happen. This whole utopian scheme needs to be investigated and those responsible need to be prosecuted and held responsible–imprisonment would suffice, but in my opinion, it would be too good for them. Traitors should be executed. A willingness to give up sovereignty and our republic is an act of treason. We patriots need to prepare and have a national plan, much as the Committee of Correspondence before the Revolution. We cannot depend on Congress alone to do it for us. One by one we will be picked off and eliminated, but together we stand a chance. Join or die. Where do I sign up?

This kind of thing is going to continue, UNTIL…..

Science can afford itself using it’s own funding sources. An independent “Congress of Science” (NGO of some kind) should be formed to take up and solve three items in order to save itself for the politicians who are co-opting it, and it’s products, through a system of Grants.

      1. Who is a Scientist? (you can’t just let some smoe dawn a smock and call themselves a “Scientist”, i.e. a loaded to term designed to denote authoritative conclusions)

      2. A Scientist must be re-certified occasionally so that a Pseudo-Scientist can’t gain the label, then wax political under it’s auspices, and thereby game the public.

      3. Fund yourselves! Politicians are mostly lawyers. Lawyers hire “expert witnesses” to provide testimony at trials in order to convince juries that their client is correct. They don’t BUY expert witnesses that help the adversary’s attorney win, THEY BUY ANSWERS THAT HELP THEMSELVES WIN…. Having come to Congress, why would they do anything different?!??!!?? They BUY the Scientist that produces the answer they want to utilize and they do so with Grant money taken from the public under the threat of arrest. The “scientists” that accepts the money, DO NOT WANT TO WORK for Corp, they want to stay at the university where it’s safe and warm, and where they are comfortable with the way things work.

THAT IS NOT SCIENCE….. THAT…. Is Politics…. If the western world is to pull out of this mess, THIS PROBLEM MUST BE SOLVED….

The only thing is that it needs to be the American people, not the American government. Oh, and also the fact that we really aren’t in any condition to be helping anyone else right now and really need to get our own house back in order first so we can competently help others.
