9-Yr-Old Student Calls Teacher ‘Cute’ – Gets Suspended For an Alleged ‘Form of Sexual Harassment’

The comments made by a 9-yr-old elementary school student have earned him a two day suspension for “inappropriate behavior” and his principal reportedly believes the comments were “a form of sexual harassment.”

Emanyea Lockett is the fourth grade boy who was forced to sit home for two days. The young man is confused by the situation, telling local press, “I was talking to my friend and I said Miss Taylor was cute.”

According to several accounts, that conversation between school friends was overheard by a substitute teacher and reported. The principal at North Carolina’s Brookside Elementary School allegedly said to the child’s mother that the comments were a “form of sexual harassment.”

Chiquita Lockett, the boy’s mother, is surprised by the suspension and told WSOCTV.com:

“It’s not like he went up to the woman and tried to grab her or touch her in a sexual way,” Ms Lockett said. “So why would he be suspended for two days?”

WSOC says a district spokeswoman told the station Emanyea was suspended for “inappropriate behavior” after making “inappropriate statements.” However, she wouldn’t elaborate.

The district‘s Code of Conduct doesn’t list “inappropriate behavior,“ but says ”disruption of school” is punishable by five days of out-of-school suspension.

The Blaze has reached out to school principal Jerry Bostic for clarification on the story, requesting information about the suspension and the allegations made by Ms. Lockett. As of this writing, Principal Bostic has not responded.

Was the school’s action appropriate? Take our quick poll.

The “disruption of the school” was caused by the overreaction of the substitute teacher and the administration who should have recognized an INNOCENT observation by a CHILD.

What a bunch of Weanies!!! This is what you get when a culture and a system of education is completely FEMINIZED!!!

Wow!……If this is what passes for sexual harassment these days, it’s probably a good thing I was in public school a very long time ago, because I’m guessing that telling your English teacher you would “crawl through broken glass to sniff the tires on the laundry truck carrying her underwear to the cleaners”……wouldn’t go over well in school today. And btw, she said she was flattered, not outraged…..lol…but hey,I was 16 at the time.

You haven’t heard the full story; the little boy was overheard by the substitute teacher as saying that the regular teacher was smoking hot and would probaly molest them when they got a little older, but the substitute teacher was a douche bag and ugly as a mud fence.
Now you know the rest of the story. Oh, I forgot the Principal is married to the substitute teacher. Can’t leave that important fact out.

There is no room for independent thought in the public school system, regardless of what you may be thinking about. You are to sit down, shut up, and recieve your indoctrination like a good little boy. Anything besides complete devotion to your (completely inadequate) education is a disruption.

Those who voted NO are part of th problem of only trying to control boys for their behaviour and not girls. Girls are taught to explore and even break the boundaries, boys not even close. He paid her a compliment in his own understanding. All they accomplished here is to teach him to fear women and the consequences for dealing with them. They’ll be watching this kid for years to come. If he screws up ever so slightly, they’ll have ammo here to lower the boom and kick him out. Boys MUST behave a certain way according to only feminista standards. I swear it like they and we live in a giant concentration camp. Atleast his parents are free to home school him if they want to rearrange their lives.

The young boy will probably have a difficult time facing this teacher now..
As long as the teacher unions support these people we will have substandard educators…eg Bostic and lockett.. the district really needs to have these educators reeducated on a child’s behavior..and how they have over reacted and humiliated themselves and the child

I think the poll results might be off since it said, “Was the school’s action appropriate? Take our quick poll.” just before the poll, but then the poll asks if we think the school overstepped its bounds by suspending the child. Many people probably read the question before and just checked “No” without reading the exact question written in the poll. Either that, or it’s a measure of the percentage of Soros trolls on the site today.

Thank God my parents sent me to a private all boy high school where we were actually allowed to be boys. I remember whistling at a new teacher when I was a senior, which is way closer to sexual harassment than this kid. She laughed, gave me a detention and that was the end of it. If that had been public school I would have been suspended, forced into mandatory therapy sessions and pysch evaluations, counselors would have been available to anyone who had heard my whistling and were offended by it and the teacher would have got a nice bonus pay for her troubles and emotional distress…

From her perspective something else comes to mind. Lets say we are her and we let this go. Next thing we know we are called complicit with allowing this sort of amoration grow in the classroom which then is construed as a real disruption by other classmates who tell their parents, who then march down to get involved against this wild sex pot of a teacher. Maybe her reaction is coming from that place. A place where she does not want to get herself placed in a bind for not speaking up about every little thing that takes place. I’ve had my seniors tell me before, you should have let us know about this before it got out of control. So over the years I learned real quick if I wanted to avoid bad appearances, it was best to always keep the upper management in the loop to what has been transpiring. This may be an act at letting her bosses know she would not tolerate being pawed at even if by a 9yr old and one word. Some think this way.

While these same hypocrites lust toward our children and do much more than an innocent comment of she or he is cute. In the old country, it was looked upon as tender and sweet and innocent, when children commented that a teacher was cute.
The bible says, unto the pure all things are pure, but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.(see Titus 1:15). What a sick and pathetic punishment, these hypocritical rerobates, put on this little boy.

The Beav’s friend teased him a bit and Miss Landers ate the apple for lunch. And the next day they had a spelling test. No harm, no foul.

If this boy had been talking about little Susie who sits 3 chairs across from him, would it still be considered inappropriate and a form of sexual harassement? If so, geez how’s a guy supposed have one of his friends ask one of her friends if her friend likes his friend?

I just turned 62 and feel so disconnected from this country. It is being run by idiots that care more about facebook than their parents. Everything is happening too fast, especially technology. This story is sickening, like the little 9yr old boy that kicked a bully in the groin and he got in trouble. We need to teach our children to defend themselves. What are they suspost to do, just lie down and let the bullies do what they want to. Well that is what we are doing, and we are losing!!!

First let me say I voted “no” because the question is posed above the pole that is opposite the question in the box. That might be the reason that there is a larger then expected no responce. Scrub the pole and reenter it so there is no difference in the questions posed. Some people might not even realized what they voted for. I realized it when I saw the results and went searching for an answer. It’s early!

The suspension is stupid beyond belief of that there is no doubt!

Its ok for Maxine Waters to tell the Tea Party to go to he**, but this boy cannot say a teacher is cute. But we teach sex ed to kindergarteners!!!!!! Something has got to change and soon. The school should be sued.

What would you expect? Teachers are a product of a liberalized education by Marxist professors who view everything through the glass of social justice. This warped sense of what is right and wrong has no gray areas that need examnination or reflection. It either is or it isn’t. If a nine year old compliments a teacher, it must be viewed in the same context as a fellow teacher compliments a teacher and therefore must be sexual harrassment. Makes perfect sense to me!

The school has sexualized a 9 year old boy. This is a crime. You can’t tell me they did this accidentally – this is part of a larger scheme to sanitize the school of any humanity. Treating such young children as if they were Mike Tyson is degrading to all of us. It is the moral equivalent of pedophilia. This school needs to be closed down NOW, and the principal sent someplace far far away from children.

These cretins get away with this sort of abuse because they think their actions are beyond reproach and beyond reach.
I perused at least a half-dozen other articles on this trying to see if there might be some deeper, more logical explanation, but nothing was forthcoming.

Here’s the school name, address, and contact information along with that for the principal, Mr. Bostic.

Thank you for the school’s address and phone number. I think people need to call this school, write this school and protest this school for it’s actions. Though I wonder how many people (sheeple) will do something about what is happening in today’s schools. I know families who would home school their children but here in California, you can get no financial help (welfare) if you home school. Some people have been laid off and it is very hard to get another job around here and some people are disabled so are low income. It is a way to punish those who would rather home school than send them to the public schools and do not want their children indoctrinated.

If you cannot work, your children are fair game to the system which steals them from good parents.

Tyger, I just emailed the school and am awaiting a response…

      Dear Principal Bostic,

I have recently become aware that you have a teacher working at your school who has been described as somewhat comely. It turns out that I have a need for a little tutoring myself, perhaps 30 minutes a day, sometime in the early evenings would be fine. I am especially encouraged that she is well versed in the lost art of stern discipline, and can handle a naughty boy. I am willing to sign a waiver allowing spanking or any other corporal punishment that she may deem necessary. Of course, I am willing to make a small donation to her personally upon completion of my nightly tutorials. Your kind attention to this pressing matter will be greatly appreciated.

      Sincerely,

      Ookspay

No worry about the boy’s self esteem? That’s what they have touted as they dumbed down our children. The left wants to make everyone out to be a criminal. They assume everyone is as sick and deranged as they are and need to be controlled. I hope that there is more to this story, but it certainly fits with the outrageous condition of our union controlled schools.

Public schools are disgusting places. This is a case of reverse-mysogyny, there’s a name for it, but basically, it is ‘hate’. The little boy is hated, for no other reason than he was born with a penis. Public schools hate little boys. They hate them. Young boys are always exploring and learning, and this cannot be tolerated in public schools. Public schools demand that we all be little girls – demure, sensitive, subjugated, and demoralized.

It is time to shut down all public schools. The idea that private companies can go to space, but private companies cannot operate schools is preposterous.

There are countless Harvard-quality education videos that are far more useful to kids than some inept teacher who yearns only to be home petting fluffy.

I agree that schools are geared toward teaching girls. Many lazybutt lib teachers hate boys so they try to have all of the boys take ADHD meds to make their job is easier. ADHD meds dumb kids down so they can tolerate a boring teacher not doing her job.

A solution is to teach all of one course at once, then move onto the next Then boys do not get penalized for disorganization.

(((Girls in school today are hardly demoralized, subjugated or demure))). That was a fact maybe 40 years ago….today girls are empowered, have girl power, aggressive, sexually mature and very active, domineering, dominating, self centered, preoccupied with their looks and social agendas. Boys….just shuffle along, your no longer needed in this future shock world because women need a man like a fish needs a bicycle. While you shuffle, do it quietly and without complaint. Whats wrong with men today they now say….because they cannot find one. Yep thats the truth.
