9/11 Defendants Ignore Judge, Stretch Court Hearing Into 13 Hour Session With Their Disruptions

Accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his four co-defendants willfully ignored the judge and stretched their arraignment hearing into nearly 13 hours with their antics Saturday.

They knelt in prayer and refused to speak or listen to the Arabic translations of the proceedings on their head sets. According to the Associated Press, one defendant even insisted on having the more than 20 pages laying out the charges against them read aloud — rather than deferred for later as the judge wanted — tacking more than two hours on to the session.

Defendant Walid bin Attash arrived in the Guantanamo Bay courtroom strapped into a restraining chair, released only after he promised to behave. According to CNN, he took off his shirt toward the end of the day as his attorney described injuries he allegedly sustained while in custody:

The judge told bin ‘Attash, “No!” and warned that he would be removed from the courtroom if he did not follow directions.

At one point, bin ‘Attash made a paper airplane and placed it on top of a microphone. It was removed after a translator complained about the sound the paper made against the microphone.

The defendants’ refusal to speak brought the proceedings to a crawl — Mohammed’s lawyer said his client ”will decline to communicate with the court.”

[The judge, Army Col. James Pohl] brought translators into the courtroom to interpret the proceedings live once the men refused to use earpieces attempted to stick to the standard script for tribunals, asking the defendants if they understood their rights to counsel and would accept the attorneys appointed for them.

The men were silent.

The five also refused to enter their pleas — a routine practice for such military court proceedings — and passed around a copy of The Economist during court recesses.

According to CNN, one of the men broke his silence hours into the hearing to shout in accented English: “You may not see us anymore” and “They are going to kill us.”

The next hearing is scheduled for June 12.

    Anyone who is shifting the blame from the port authority to this guy is BRAINWASHED to the point of denying reality. Watch the pilot episode of “The Lone Gunmen”, where this EXACT plot takes place. It was broadcast March 4th 2001, six months before the media fabricated HOAX started.       @Real…I guess it would help if you knew where I was coming from. Maybe I’m wrong about Groundzero, but I know there are people on internet forums who say there were no planes, or that nuclear devices were used, in order to give people the assumption that that is what “truthers” believe….which is definitely not the case, except for maybe a few knotheads that begin to believe that bs (no planes and nuclear) and start spreading that nonsense themselves.

You have no idea how uninformed you really come off trying to describe nuclear physics….and an even worse understanding of light metals and their respective flash points.       Sorry for downgrading it by one, but on the bright side, it is less likely to be picked up on a key word screen. This shows how 3 can be detonated in the same location w/o being set off by rouge neutrons. Giving even more supporting evidence to the fact NY port authority is COMPLETELY responsible for bringing those structures down, intentionally killing NYFD witnesses who could have testified THERE WERE NO PLANES!

      Death is too good If you noticed, when they tried Sadam Hussein, standard approach was to hold the person being tried in a Cage. Maybe we should honor their tradition of treating people like animals. In my opinion, the death penalty is too good for him. I would punish this idiot with the following approach.
      1.Pedaling a bicycle generating electricity 17 hours a day. Set a minimum of 10 KW-hours per day. Trust me that is a lot of electricity..
      2.A carefully mixture of quality music–rap, Tiny Tim, and Rick Dees singing Disco Duck–over and over. Whenever Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red White and Blue” would come on, he would have to stand at attention while pedalling and twice the pace.
      3.Meals consisting of stale white bread with lard. For veggies, hay– Water, import the water from the swamps of his homeland.
      4.His sleeping quarters would make him feel like home. Dirt floors, slit trench and swamp water. For conjugal visit, he could have his camel on Friday night

Many years ago, I was in trafic court for a recently-expired state-plate sticker(6-days late). the guy before me came in in stinking-oily-work-clothes. The judge stopped all proceedings, stood up bhidn his bench, and proceded to tell him…”How dare you come into your courtroom…YES I said yours…in such unkempt attire! You are part of we-the-people, and thus it’s your courtroom. Could you have brought some socks, and clean-cloths in a jewel bag and changed in the building-washroom before?I give you only ONE continuance…to comeback decent, in a week, with your lawyer-present…he was orderd to show-up several continuances ago. If he does not this next time, your trial will start without.” Then the judge comely went onto the next case..mine, after a bout-a-minute of much needed composure…for him and us. This is a great judge, in full control of the legal procedings, not letting the defendants run them…for how many hours?????

    I think my original post is lost in the ether so I will try once more………….

    The terrorists on trial at Gitmo are the mot protected people on earth at present and they know this. This is why they are belligerent, disrespectful and mocking of the court and the American military and people. This is a showtrial and they know it.

    The feamal attorney representing one of these savages came to court in full Muslim garb and suggested that the other women in the courtroom should dress the same so as not to offend the Muslim sensibilities of the defendents. This is the mind set of too many in America now. Placate the enemy seems to be the mantra of the liberal left and the Obama administration.

    This trial should be held behind closed doors, military only. It should have been over in one day but because it is a show trial and the Muslim murderers are the stars it will drag on for weeks if not months.

    America is being shamed again.

    The slow reconstruction of the World Trade Center is done for a reason. It is a concrete expression of the process being used to wake up the American people.

    There are those that know exactly what is going on. However, it takes a long time to rouse a nation of 400 million, many of whom are living their lives on auto-pilot, dependent on external authorities to provide them with guidance and purpose.

    When that tower is complete, America will be fully awake. Time to rise and shine.

    In American civil courts there have been occasions where disruptive defendants have been tied and gaged during court proceedings. The military judge must be frighten to death by obama & holder to allow 13 hours of shenanigans.
