A Congressman Calls For Obama’s Impeachment…and He’s a Democrat!

The President’s decision to send American firepower into Libya without asking for Congressional approval has some calling for his impeachment. And they are not Republicans or Tea Partiers, the Impeachment Bell is being rung by Democrats.
After weeks of hearing that Democrats planned to take advantage of a rift that had formed among the newly-elected GOP majority in the House, we see a similar problem on the Left side of the aisle. The anti-war wing of the Democratic Party is furious with the President.
Politico reported on the Democratic Conference call from the weekend:
Reps. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), Donna Edwards (Md.), Mike Capuano (Mass.), Dennis Kucinich (Ohio), Maxine Waters (Calif.), Rob Andrews (N.J.), Sheila Jackson Lee (Texas), Barbara Lee (Calif.) and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D.C.) “all strongly raised objections to the constitutionality of the president’s actions” during that call, said two Democratic lawmakers who took part.
Talking Points Memo noted that Ohio’s diminutive Congressman and frequent presidential candidate, Dennis Kucinich was perhaps the loudest voice against American military action in Libya, calling what into question what Obama had done:
“President Obama moved forward without Congress approving. He didn’t have Congressional authorization, he has gone against the Constitution, and that’s got to be said,” Kucinich said in an interview with Raw Story.“It’s not even disputable, this isn’t even a close question. Such an action — that involves putting America‘s service men and women into harm’s way, whether they’re in the Air Force or the Navy — is a grave decision that cannot be made by the president alone.”
According to Kucinich, Obama’s decision “would appear on its face to be an impeachable offense,” though he questioned whether Congress would ever move forward with a trial in practice.

Something that truly bothers me are the names of two of the people listed who want him impeached: Maxine Waters & Sheila Jackson Lee. These women are two of the most despicable representatives we have. They should also be gone. So too (despicable) are the left wing terrorists who are now against him. Well, so be it. Let the Democrats be the ones to impeach. It will be on their heads. I wonder if they are a few of the representatives who are up for election soon? Something stinks. Or people are finally waking up…

I may not agree with most things he says and does, but that is the last thing I want to see, something happen to him. These guys on the left are very scary characters and if they think that he isn’t going to fall in line with the goals they “tasked” him to do, then he is definitely in danger. After reading this story, I took a few minutes to pray for his and his family’s safety.

He should have gone through congress. But alas when does a King have to ask his followers anything before making decisions of this magnitude. He has not abided by the Consitution and now both sides can see this. But they won‘t because they won’t agree on “the” reason for impeachment although many are there. We will have to do it for them in 2012. Yep, we still have a ways to go to get this country back on track and put the fear of God and the people back into the goverment!
