‘A Real Shock’: Fishermen Stunned as Great White Shark Devours Another Shark Next to Their Boat

Although many people can say they’ve played tug-of-war before, not everyone can say their competitor was a great white shark — except these Australian fishermen. Off the coast of Bondi Beach near Sydney fisherman nabbed a blue shark by the tail and were amazed when a juvenile great white shark took it as bait and began mowing down.
The men brought the shark in close to their boat and caught all the animal carnage on film. The fisherman — perhaps unwisely — even took turns petting the shark on the nose.

According to news.com.au, fisherman Henry Minter estimated the shark was about 18 feet long compared to their 32-foot motor boat. The incident happened last year, but it was only posted on YouTube earlier this month and has since gained more than 1.2 million hits.
Grind TV reports Minter saying in an email that the fishing community was shocked to have seen something so big close to the Sydney shore:
“We were amazed as the shark bit the whole blue shark in half and proceeded to play tug of war with us with the remaining tail half. Never seen anything this big so close to Sydney and has been a real shock to the Sydney fishing and surfing community.”
News.com.au contacted an expert from the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries who said it was in fact a great white shark but with no landmarks present in the video, they can’t confirm the location. The spokesperson for the department is reported as emphasizing that they frequently patrol the beach to make sure swimmers are protected.

I’m with you LKetchum. They don’t have a clue what they are talking about. No one in this country have even endured any really severe hardship since the 1930′s much less societal breakdown. They need to go live in Somalia and let is know how wonderful it is.

That is a far cry from a skinny whose parent were beheaded in front of him before he was conscripted into the army of a sadistic mad man who keeps him high on meth, cocaine, and paint thinner while sending him out to cut the arms off of other children. That is a world of difference. Not even a comparison.
Oh, and BTW, Kony 2012 is a SHAM!!! Kony has not been seen in Uganda going on 7 years and even if he were, Uganda has a fairly strong military. Hell, it was men and women from Uganda that acted as our security on Al Asad Air Base in Iraq! They were literally the only people on that base allowed to carry a weapon in condition 1 at all times (magazine inserted, bullet in chamber, weapon on safe). They just want us to send troops to another African nation because that is what happens when Democrats are in the White House. Or does no one remember the black hawk down incident?
