ABC News Treats Bi-Partisan Seating as Prom Dance

ABC News’s Jake Tapper is a known as a fair, and tough, questioner. He’s also, apparently, trying to secure the comedian tag.

During a segment Monday morning about the president’s State of the Union speech, Tapper took a lighthearted approach regarding plans for Democrats and Republicans to use mixed seating. Treating it more like a prom dance, Tapper gave names to “couples” such as “Southwest Soulmates,“ ”The Partisan Pals,“ and even ”Cutest Couple.” See who got those titles at about 2:oo below:

ABC News Treats Bi Partisan Seating as Prom Dance

While ABC News called it a prom dance, Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) over the weekend called it a anti-GOP “trap.”

I just have this gut feeling that King Obama will somehow figure out a way to slander the GOP, Tea Party or even the Supreme Court(again). If it happens they should collectively stand and walk out on him and swear to not do business again until the Democrat Party is abolished. Just sayin

I agree! But no one in Washington has the guts to do this. Joe Wilson told him last year that he was a liar, (which was the truth) and then backed down! All the politicans are worried about is protocall, and what their buddies in Washington think about them!

I can’t believe any Republican is even considering this. Republicans have to be united, or they fail. It’s that simple. This is a divide and conquer ploy by Dems, set out for the nation to see. Those who seat with Dems are RINO’s and need to be held accountable.

Why not treat it that way. It is nothing more than ‘showtime’ for the pols. The political equivalent of the academy awards. Maybe we can have interviews with Murky Murkowski about her lovely gown, and interviews with the politicos about the legislation they are sponsoring?

Is this supposed to get me to believe that they are uniting in anything?

I went to Colorado Senator Mark Udalls website and it is plastered with his efforts to get the seating arrangements changed for the big Obama ongoing lie speech to America. It’s like the White House making the doctors wear white smocks for his heathcare propoganda speach last year. All smoke and mirrors. This guys don’t know how to solve problems, they only know how to put on a dog and pony act.

Call your senators and congressmen and demand that they sit apart during the speech. Demand that they bring the Obamacare repeal and replace act to the senate floor for debate and a up or down vote. Remember, they work for US!!

No one but the Obamabots think Barry has a snowballs chance in 2012. What we have now is just Jimmy Carters second term. The Supreme Court Justices worth a hill of beans aren’t showing up this year (Alito will be out of town and Scalia said in an interview at the Federalist Society dinner last fall not to expect him. “It is a juvenile spectacle, and I resent being called upon to give it dignity,” he said. “It’s really not appropriate for the justices to be there.” So that sounds to me like a big N-O. And Thomas doesn’t go for similar reasons). Of course the brain dead Liberal Justices will probably be in the Obama Cheerleader squad.

I’d put my money on the Republicans elbowing a weenie Democrat out of the way any day of the week. Anyone left standing when the applause dies out gets tossed into the unemployment line.

Anything to make the narcissist president look good… by mixing up the seating, the majority, who’ll be sitting on their hands throughout most of the speech, won’t be as visible to the world. However, the Pelosi jack-in-the-box will still be popping up every 30 seconds or so in a standing ovation, and the lame-stream media will still be focused on her.
