ACORN Returns! Sets up Shop Internationally in Egypt, South Korea, and Prague

“Glenn Beck may have simply been ahead of his time!” wrote Wade Rathke, ACORN founder, in a message to supporters recently. In that same message, Rathke noted that ACORN is gaining some global traction.
Though ACORN shuttered its US operations last year, when its funding dried up as a result of being ambushed by conservative activist James O’Keefe, the outfit’s community organizers are taking their progressivist vision to the international market. ACORN International has just set up offices in South Korea and Prague, according to NOLA.com.
With the fall of the Berlin Wall still a fresh (and happy) memory for many Czech residents, ACORN’s Prague division has ironically decided to call itself the ACORN Comrades Club.
ACORN International has also established itself in Egypt.
Rathke wrote to supporters:
And, perhaps even more thrilling, I have now heard from a number of activists involved in organizing in Cairo in the last several weeks. They are talking about developing a ‘Peoples’ Plan’ for development in a number of the poorer areas in the wake of the democracy debate and want to connect with our efforts in doing a similar plan after Katrina in New Orleans,”
According to the organization’s website, ACORN’s international presence extends to at least eight other nations:
ACORN International (Community Organizations International) is a federation of community based non-profit organizations working in countries around the world. We have affiliate offices in Argentina, Peru, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Kenya, Honduras and India working on campaigns as diverse as: affordable housing, living wages, provision of water and sanitation, education, and health care reform.

Doesn’t exactly jive with the award for safety they recieved from the current administration just before it exploded. Allowing China and Russia to continue operations while shuttting down everyone else certainly looks suspicious. You may be on to something there.

If she knew, probably with her ties to Bilderburg and many other big money power brokers, you can bet that Odumbo and his puppetmasters knew. I’m pretty sure she has ties to Soros such as the Davos conferences and such.
In July of ‘08, I attended a seminar on small home design and construction. I could see that smaller living was a coming thing after all these McMansions were going unsold or going under. The seminar was in various cities, but I attended the Seattle date as it was closest and I have relatives there to visit.
I felt like a fish out of water! It was obvious that they were mostly ultra-libs, but even the few average looking folks were treating me like a leper! I don’t stand out that conservative looking, but it was quite obvious they were avoiding me. I would have understood it if I had been wearing camo and a sidearm, but it was not that obvious.
It was after returning home that I looked up some of the people there and found ties to the UN, OSI, Tides, and various other lefty orgs. That was a wakeup call to check some of these outfits out. We have a bunch of lib-tards here in western MT, Missoula primarily, but these guys were BIGTIME progs and socialists.
That is when I was sure that the bad vibes I had been feeling for several years was accurate.

So far, it’s worked pretty well for Obama without any meaningful resistance from Congress, the Senate or the Supreme Court. I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. I fear that they need to be outed once again, as money is their god and the US government is their cash dispenser. I love it. The more they do it, the more regular folks will get annoyed at them for insulting their intelligence who weren’t paying much attention before, and they may quite possibly start *watching* and *listening* to Glenn to see what all the noise is about, see if he’s *really* that crazy. That’s bad for the Left if any of those people have any intellectual honesty at all.
Keep on attacking Glenn and others speaking Truth. It’s great, free publicity. He and they are in the position of “Obiwan Kenobi” from “Star Wars”, with a slight twist: If you strike him/them down, *WE*, the People, become more powerful than you can ever imagine.
Truth will always triumph on the battlefield of ideas.

You really should read the article before commenting. I doubt that O’Keefe has the guts to travel to the countries where this group has re-appeared.
You DO realize that he is nothing more than a sensationalist, don’t you. He would rather swallow a bag of nails than travel to places like those listed above and become a REAL journalist.

Thanks for all your efforts to spread publicity so more people become aware of Beck and O’Keefe. The more people that are exposed to Beck and O’Keefe and other lovers of freedom, the more votes there will be against those on the Left on election day.
C’mon, you can tell us…you’re a TEA Party member, right? 9-12er? 8-28er?
You can’t fool us. Nobody on the Left that actually wanted to defeat those who want smaller government and lower taxes would work so hard to make sure they win.

Actually you are wrong on ALL counts. I’m an Independent! See, I have NEVER allowed anyone to tell me what to think or what to say. I was actually taught how to think for myself when I was a child – which doesn’t happen much any more.
If you read the article again, my friend, you would notice that these groups are in far away places. Just as Marco Polo stole a great idea from China and gave the Italians ‘pasta’, so these groups knew enough to gather their forces together and take a page out of our Constitution and educate the underprivileged in other countries to stand up for their own rights. There are many (yes, me included) who actually believe that EVERYONE has a right to an opinion on who should represent them in government. NO VOTE SHOULD EVER BE SUPPRESSED – here in the USA, or in any of the other 194 countries in the world.
I understand that you actually believe that everyone should think like Glenn, but in the grand scheme of things he is nothing but an Elmer Gantry wanna-be! And YES, I do listen to him on the radio and watch his show. Why? Because I need to listen to ALL sides in order to be informed and educated. Try it, you might just find it interesting – or at least entertaining!
