Police: Three Dead After Shooting Near Texas A&M

Authorities Apprehend Shooter Near Texas A&M Campus, Multiple People Reportedly Shot

(Photo: ABC13)

(The Blaze/AP) —  Police say a gunman was being served an eviction notice before he opened fire from inside a home near Texas A&M and killed a law enforcement officer.

College Station Assistant Police Chief Scott McCollum says Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann was among three people, including the gunman, killed in a shootout at the house Monday.

McCollum says a 65-year-old man was the third person killed. A woman and three law enforcement officers also were injured.

Fox News has the latest:

McCollum says Bachmann went to the off-campus home near A&M’s football stadium early Monday afternoon when the gunman opened fire. Other officers responded to the scene after receiving a call that an officer was down.

The university issued an alert on its website just before 12:30 p.m. Monday warning of an active shooter near the campus football stadium, Kyle Field.

The warning tells residents and students to avoid the area.

Here is the press conference:

College Station lies about 90 miles northwest of Houston, and is home to roughly 50,000 students.

This is a breaking story.  Updates will be added.

NEAR Texas A&M, has NOTHING to do with the campus. Why the spin and gratuitous mention of it? Ohhhh, yeah. Gun control agenda, scare tactics, got it.

Its unfortunate but this is what happens when people lose hope. Our economy is collapsing and people will lose everything. Everything they have worked for thier whole lives will be gone. In Arlington Texas people are writing on the roofs of repossessed homes. “Example of one off hwy 287 and Sublett Rd 3 weeks ago” “This home confiscated by the Banks and Obama” What will happen when people have nothing left to live for? VIOLENCE. Janet Joplin said it best “ Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose”

The media automatically associates a shooting with Colorado. Yes, shootings are tragic. They happen all the time. The national media needs to tone it down. This was local news coverage at best.

Hold on to your rights people. FoxNews may not lie but they sure as hell exaggerate the truth to further the progressive agenda.

It’s only a matter of time until you see more and more campuses (yes I know this was not on campus) being attacked. They are sooo vulnerable to attack. They have a ton of kids, easy to blend right in and so easy to bring a gun. Every university needs to allow students to carry in classrooms, or at least the teachers. I know my college that I just graduated from during my last year made it possible for students to carry around campus and for teachers to carry in buildings.

Never seems to happen in Canada, course they have serious gun control laws and also lots of hunters, Of course, pubs have pandered to NRA MONEY FOR DECADES, so pubs get the blame for Aurora, Columbine, Sikh temple, VA university, I could go on, but let’s get to next topic:

GOP IN WHITE HOUSE IS LOSING, NOT ONE SUCCESSFUL PUB PREZ SINCE TEDDY R.— gw bush, no, nix/ford, no, ike no, reagan you say: ABSOLUTELY NOT, 3 RECESSIONS, STK MKT CRASH, savings loan scandal, iran contra scandal, and worst: ALL THE MARINES DEAD IN LEBANON AND REAGAN TUCKS TAIL AND RUNS.
      ———————————–

In fact, affluent Americans have represented a growing portion of the Democratic Party for a generation.

(AS I’VE SAID BEFORE, DJIA IS MUCH BETTER WITH DEMS IN WHITE HOUSE,

      AND SMART INVESTORS KNOW THIS!!!)

In winning the presidency four years ago, Mr. Obama defeated Senator John McCain

by 52 percent to 46 percent among voters in the top income group, those earning more than $200,000.

The conservative author Charles Murray, in his new book “Coming Apart,” which is about the nation’s widening class divide, identifies “Super ZIP codes” that the “hyper-wealthy and hyper-elite” call home.

Even as he proposed higher taxes on the wealthy in 2008, Mr. Obama beat Mr. McCain

in 8 of the top 10 such ZIP codes — by a ratio of 2 to 1 in communities like Atherton, Calif., Gladwyne, Pa., and Chappaqua, N.Y.

Gun owners will be audited by the IRS. Tax breaks if you give away your guns. Your kids get better opportunities if you don’t have guns.
