Matt Damon Bashes Obama: ‘A One-Term President With Some Balls’ Would Have Been Better

Actor Matt Damon has traditionally been a major Barack Obama supporter, but earlier this year he began to showcase a strong dislike for the president’s policies. Now, just months later, the Oscar winner is upping the ante on his attacks.
In March, he criticized Obama’s education policies, telling CNN’s Piers Morgan, “I really think he misinterpreted his mandate. A friend of mine said to me the other day, I thought it was a great line, ‘I no longer hope for audacity.’”
“He’s doubled down on a lot of things, going back to education…the idea that we‘re testing kids and we’re tying teachers salaries to how kids are performing on tests, that kind of mechanized thinking has nothing to do with higher order,” Damon continued. “We’re training them, not teaching them.”

In the new issue of Elle Magazine, Damon doesn‘t hold back on his negative assessment of Obama’s overall performance. The actor attacks the president for not getting “stuff done” and he uses some strong language to describe his first term.
“I’ve talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level. One of them said to me, ‘Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician,’” Damon said. “You know, a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of the country, much better.”

Posted on December 21, 2011 at 1:12pmLet this be a lesson to all those of you who think Obama is unbeatable in 2012 – when Lefties like Matty and Michael Moore are turning on them, they have a really, really big problem.
Most Americans look at Mr. Obama and ONE thing pops into their head – ‘There but for the grace of God go I.’
Either they have been laid off, or they think they could get laid off at any time.
They know someone who has been laid off, or could get laid off at any time.
They or someone they know has lost a house, or their savings, or both in addition to that job.
They know a business they used to frequent which went under.
On a side note:
Anyone else remember the good old days when Government stayed out of your way when you wanted to put your heart and soul into a business? Or when hard work meant something? When you did work hard and earn your money, you weren’t the “bad guy”?
If those things aren’t coming back, then perhaps we deserve to end as a Republic. Freedom should only be available to those willing to work and fight for it.

I agree on the surface but there is another level happenin’. The so called uneducated aren’t as uneducated as they seem. Just have interests in other places and just assume the system is stable and will just go on. When I explain to them what is really happening at this time they look at me sideways. But then over time I present relevant current events and explain how the parts fit. After they get so many parts they understand and I swing their political leanings. It really works…one person at a time.

It is supposed to snow around 5 to 7 inches. I think we will have a nice white Christmas this year. You know I woke up this morning and jogged 1 1/2 miles. I used to jog over 8 miles a day. I am slowly getting back into the swing of things.

In fact Mt Lemon has a 46 inch base and is open for skiing/snowboarding. However, for Christmas it should be about 60 degrees; but a short 1 hour drive and a change in 6000 ft in elevation you can be enjoying the snow.

He was SOOO over the top for Obama and said nasty things about anyone who would “stand against him” so to speak… it just makes him lose all credibility. Just like Matthews, who I think desperately knows inside how wrong he was about Obama, but in his case… he’s too proud to admit it.

But the irony is that NoBama is about as far left as he can go without blowing his agenda. It’s all calculated….they’ve had 45 years to layout their program. I recently was invited to a Hollywierd function, went, and was appalled by the discussions…and everyone tying to out do each other with their marxist rhetoric. Clueless is again the word I label on all these droids. I remember seeing pictures of the USSR where there were people standing in lines for 3 days that went around the corner waiting for empty markets to get food delivered. Wheeeee!!!! Look what we can create!!! Frigging idiots. But hey weren’t born then so they have no benchmark. These people just need our type of re-education.
