Matt Damon Bashes Obama: ‘A One-Term President With Some Balls’ Would Have Been Better

Matt Damon Slams Obamas Performance as President | One Term President With Some BallsActor Matt Damon has traditionally been a major Barack Obama supporter, but earlier this year he began to showcase a strong dislike for the president’s policies. Now, just months later, the Oscar winner is upping the ante on his attacks.

In March, he criticized Obama’s education policies, telling CNN’s Piers Morgan, “I really think he misinterpreted his mandate. A friend of mine said to me the other day, I thought it was a great line, ‘I no longer hope for audacity.’”

“He’s doubled down on a lot of things, going back to education…the idea that we‘re testing kids and we’re tying teachers salaries to how kids are performing on tests, that kind of mechanized thinking has nothing to do with higher order,” Damon continued. “We’re training them, not teaching them.”

Watch these statements, below:

In the new issue of Elle Magazine, Damon doesn‘t hold back on his negative assessment of Obama’s overall performance. The actor attacks the president for not getting “stuff done” and he uses some strong language to describe his first term.

“I’ve talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level. One of them said to me, ‘Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician,’” Damon said. “You know, a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of the country, much better.”

Let this be a lesson to all those of you who think Obama is unbeatable in 2012 – when Lefties like Matty and Michael Moore are turning on them, they have a really, really big problem.

Most Americans look at Mr. Obama and ONE thing pops into their head – ‘There but for the grace of God go I.’

Either they have been laid off, or they think they could get laid off at any time.
They know someone who has been laid off, or could get laid off at any time.
They or someone they know has lost a house, or their savings, or both in addition to that job.
They know a business they used to frequent which went under.

    On a side note:

Anyone else remember the good old days when Government stayed out of your way when you wanted to put your heart and soul into a business? Or when hard work meant something? When you did work hard and earn your money, you weren’t the “bad guy”?

If those things aren’t coming back, then perhaps we deserve to end as a Republic. Freedom should only be available to those willing to work and fight for it.

Matt Damon………another pseudo-intellectual coming out of Hollywood who speaks on a myriad of topics and knows very little of what he discusses. Why would anyone care what Matt Damon or any other Hollywood “type” thinks regarding anything. They make a living pretending to be someone they are not. Unfortunately this almost always carries over into their personal life when they try to give an “informed” opinion. He has been brainwashed by the Harvard liberals and even though he did not graduate he was there long enough apparently.

Obama is unbeatable in 2012, because even lily-livered pissant RINO Republicans play by some set of rules, and uber-Progressive aristocratic socialist Democrats deny not only that rules apply to them, but that they even exist. If Obama chooses to be President for another term, and if The Party remains confident in him, he will win, because they will cheat as much as is necessary.

Expect every occupant of a Chicago cemetery to vote. 2012 is going to make the electoral shenanigans of 2-bit 3rd-world dictators look like child’s play. If you are a significant Republican donor or vocal supporter, expect to be audited by the IRS and expand federal raids a la Gibson guitars. Your children will be denied jobs and university placement, your loans will be called, your mortgage will be denied. FDR did all of these things and the Democrat Machine has had a long time to perfect its craft since the days of that American dictator.

Unfortunately most of the “moderates” are simply lazy and uneducated. They prefer football, concerts and movies to educating themselves and understanding how this nation is being destroyed from within. I really can’t even be open to liberals any longer. The pleas for civil discourse, understanding each other, and agreeing to disagree are not reasonable. This isn’t the Republican-Democrat divisions from the sixties. It has now devolved into class warfare, communist/socialist against capitalist and open, unapologetic desire to overthrow the American experience.

I agree on the surface but there is another level happenin’. The so called uneducated aren’t as uneducated as they seem. Just have interests in other places and just assume the system is stable and will just go on. When I explain to them what is really happening at this time they look at me sideways. But then over time I present relevant current events and explain how the parts fit. After they get so many parts they understand and I swing their political leanings. It really works…one person at a time.

What you said is more interesting than anything Matt Damon has to say.

Here in Texas it is cool enough for me to light the wood stove and we are expecting more rain tomorrow. Seems like the drought is ending.

I hope you enjoy your grilled cheese sandwich and have a very Merry Christmas.

Doin’ okay here in Montana. Snowing also. A blizzard. Why didn’t you moniker a name after a town in Colorado: NONAME, it would have fit better. Joggin on the treadmill, too cold outside. Just as focused as you are. Matt WHO? I only watch his stuff when I can rent it for a buck. He’s out of the payback cycle by that time.

Good to hear about the drought ending… been praying for that… also I believe you had posted a vision that George Washington had and I replyed to you as to the interpretation of it and if you knew it. Did not hear back… I believe I have remembered you correctly… do you know what it is.. was interested in it … blessings

Down here in Tucson it has been running about 10-15 degrees below average and we have receivd record rain for December; so much for global warming. In fact Mt Lemon has a 46 inch base and is open for skiing/snowboarding. However, for Christmas it should be about 60 degrees; but a short 1 hour drive and a change in 6000 ft in elevation you can be enjoying the snow.

In one way I respect him cuz he hopped out of the Obama tank. But, on the other hand. He was SOOO over the top for Obama and said nasty things about anyone who would “stand against him” so to speak… it just makes him lose all credibility. Just like Matthews, who I think desperately knows inside how wrong he was about Obama, but in his case… he’s too proud to admit it.

He didn’t hop out of the NoBama tank…he’s just further on the left and is trying to pull NoBama further left. But the irony is that NoBama is about as far left as he can go without blowing his agenda. It’s all calculated….they’ve had 45 years to layout their program. I recently was invited to a Hollywierd function, went, and was appalled by the discussions…and everyone tying to out do each other with their marxist rhetoric. Clueless is again the word I label on all these droids. I remember seeing pictures of the USSR where there were people standing in lines for 3 days that went around the corner waiting for empty markets to get food delivered. Wheeeee!!!! Look what we can create!!! Frigging idiots. But hey weren’t born then so they have no benchmark. These people just need our type of re-education.

Damon is only mad because BO didn’t go far enough with his policies, and negotiated too much with the House. Bet you $10,000 he votes for BO in 2012. Any takers?

kinda shocked that I agree with something he’s said (aside from his love of Boston teams)….but although his meaning behind it might differ from my own, his comment about training children instead of teaching them is spot on

Balls has nothing to do with it. Someone who believes in this country as the greatest country in the history of the world would be a good start. Don’t get me started but it is refreshing to see someone from the Hollywood group not rise him above others.

Balls does have something to do with it.Not his but ours.If we Americans who say we love the constitution and this nation,if we had any, we would have already evicted Mr Usurper in Chief out of our house and into the street. He don’t gotda credentials to stay there. But no,we (myself included)are gunna set back and let him have another term, no matter how many laws he and his hoodlum friends will have to break to come up with enough votes. PS:no disrespect to the ladies, but ya‘ll don’t need any to make things happen.lol eb
