Actor Orlando Jones Tweets: ‘If American Liberals Want Respect…Kill Sarah Palin’

Just when attacks — whether they are serious statements or jokes — against Sarah Palin and her family seem like they’ve reached an unprecedented climax, someone always seems to up the ante. On October 22, actor Orlando Jones (MADtv) tweeted the following message:

While it took many people a few days to realize that this was posted to the Twitterverse, commentators and political spectators are just now delving into commentary on the matter.

As of this morning, Jones still hadn’t opted to delete the micro-message (then again, there are so many screen captures of it, doing so would be fruitless at this juncture). Instead, he’s been defending it.

On October 23, just one day after Jones sent the message, he apparently began responding to angry Tweeps who were less than content with his tweet (which he describes as “inane” and characterizes as a joke). Here are some of his responses:

      Most actors in Hollywood are neglected kids from the “other side of the tracks” for whom Fame and Stardom seems like Heaven. Most of them dropped out of HIGHSCHOOL…came to L.A. with zero $ and God only knows what they had to do to survive long enough to get their “break”. Then, there are the brats of the Eastern Establishment, the very wealthy tycoons who put their kids through school, then farm them out to Producers they’ve financed to baby-sit until they get married or die from an overdose. They don’t really have to work. They have mommy and daddy buy their convertible, pay all their overhead, buy their clothes and all they have to do it try to out dress each other and these ‘needy actors are great play things for them (like live Barbie and Ken dolls) . The few Barbie/Ken dolls) who made it, (became famous) were still beholden to these Brat-Puppet masters. 99% of what is filmed (MOVIES/TV/VIDEOS) is rehashed trash. Neither of these groups have had any Religious training or participation, they are totally lost while they play their GUCCI games and the ones who have money get to go home if they stay alive and eventually marry have more kids like themselves and end up running some branch of the family business. The others end up in porn, pumping gas in Victorville etc. for the approx. 5 years that the ORLANDO JONES‘S ’make it’ (they never think it will end) they same dumb things like his Sarah Palin Threat.     Sounds like a ‘death threat” to me. This guy belongs behind bars. If a conservative would say this about Pres. Obama there wouldn’t be any hesitation to put them behind bars. This country has let things like this go on to long. This remark, VP’s remarks, J Jackson, and far leftists remarks are just as bad and wicked as those who believe in extreme sheria law.     It seems when liberal comedians make a controversial statement, they always run and hide behind their “business” of comedy and say something like. “Didn‘t you know that I was joking or Can’t you take a joke”? One big problem with taking this position is that some of their loyal followers may not know that they were joking and may be incited to act. A question to all liberal comedians out there; If you are a comedian, is everything that comes out of your mouth intended to be funny? The answer is no! You can’t be funny all the time. There are issues in life that you need to take seriously, and there are not so favorable consequences when you don’t.

People, obviously, on the very ledge of rational thought can only be a step or three behind that kind of behavior. I mean, if they lack the social skills to formulate a constructive sentence then they also lack the necessary skills to be a social benefit. Threatening the life of another seems to be the rhetoric of the left, alright. But it’s no joke.

      He’s an original MADtv alum, was in Office Space, and the X-Files take-off Evolution (alongside David Duchovny), and has since been in Everybody Hates Chris twice, did a great job credited as “Party Planner” (He didn’t even rate a name. Ouch) in the Bernie Mac show, and was the host of ABC’s Crash Course (which was cancelled after 4 episodes).

      Translation? He’s an entirely irrelevent D lister whose best work peaked with B movies over ten years ago, and who is trying to spark his failing career back to the heights of C-list status by being controvercial.
