AFL-CIO Boss Denies Paying Occupy CPAC Demonstrators Despite Video of Protesters Admitting Transaction

The Blaze reported last month on the protester at Occupy CPAC who told The Daily Caller’s Michelle Fields that he and other demonstrators were paid “sixty bucks a head” to protest outside the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. The demonstration was organized by the AFL-CIO and Occupy DC, and Chris Field noted that some of the protesters needed cue card-like reminders for what they were chanting. The DC caught up with AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka who, despite video showing otherwise, denies that his union paid protesters.

Another “Fair and Balanced” media outlet. There will be no surprise when the investors and/or backers are finally identified. No surprise here as I‘m sure this means the Daily Caller will have an ethical unbiased stance in its’ choice and coverage of the news. Just another wagon on the circus train… And as P.T. Barnum pointed out there is a fool born every minute. So we can expect the Blaze, Fox News, GB and the Daily Caller, etc. to consistently and constantly reference each others BS to improve the credibility and smell.

I lost my third term as a president of my local because I did not support the pro choice candidate. That was a wake up call for me. Local union members haven’t got a clue. 750 members and only 30 showed up for regular meetings. The power is concentrated in the upper echelon and locals are kept in the dark or want to be! Union members need to wake up and speak up!!

It‘s the ledership that’s giving the unions a bad name. You and I are really on the same team when it comes to the working man. We’re all trying to make an honest buck. But when Trumpka makes an apparent bold face lie like this, it doesn’t sit well with the public. It’s no different than when a supposed republican who is supposed to represent conservative values goes agains those values (like Scott Brown, John Boehner, etc), it ticks me off.
