I have worked non-union in the past and I can tell you from experience that union workers are far less productive and have far less required safety training than any non-union compay I have ever worked for. It sickens me to death that I get all this socialist propaganda at my house from the AFL/CIO goons. Unions are destroying our Country!

The Democrat party is wholly owned by the unions and get their marching orders from them. The unions are driving businesses and local governments into bankruptcy. They are also dragging down the Federal government. They are hogs at the feeding trough constantly squealing for more. They will never say enough. They always want more and they fully expect tax payers to fork up the cash to prop up their extravagant retirement programs. Don’t ever trust any of this people. They would gladly sell their own mothers to get more money. Watch a union rally. If you do so you will see the real haters in this country.

Did he whine and complain about it? No he got to work. Yes in the last few years he screwed up by spending too much but the bulk of this recession belongs to Obama who has ruined the future of our children and their children. Wake up America, this guy hates the country he is sworn to protect and defend.

So our tax dollars used to bail out the UAW will use Mexican labor instead.

First, any job helps the economy, why? That money is then turned around and spent on goods and services.
Second, a dollar is a dollar, whether you pay Joe the plumber or Jerry the Census taker, its still a dollar, and they still spend it on food, computers, cable tv and cars.
Third, I am missing the hard data for jobs created by GWB versus jobs created by BHO, anyone got those?

NOTICE the ones that rally behind OBAMA.. Those are the ones who took over the workers pensions from the companies and spent it.. THOSE are the UNIONS who are giving ALL unions a bad name.. some unions actually work with the companies.. Many are the unions that bring us our ENERGY which is one BIG reason OBAMA wants them out of business..

I was a union guy for the first 15 years of my working life. If you had ten union guys around at coffee break talking politics, 80 percent were Reagan Democrats. If the Republicans knew how little the rank and file really voted democrat they would not scare so easy and could run on Reagen principals without fear. The Blanche Lincoln/ Bill Halter primary in Arkansas is a fine example of their relevance

Posted on September 6, 2010 at 4:57pmIt is really hard to believe these guys. From what school of economics did this guy graduate? I believe what he failed to mention is that the majority of these jobs created by Obama are with the federal government.
Let me give you an example:
My wife worked for the census. They kept her on even after the real work of census taking was over. She was just given busy work to keep her on. But she was one of the lucky ones; there were others who were on the census taker roles with the excuse that they may be needed to assist census takers in other parts of the country. the rug is that while these workers were kept on the employee rolls, none of them were actually getting paid. It remained like this for a couple months, then the local census management was informed that the census work was complete and that the next month they would begin laying off the workers. There were those who saw this as a totally political move to bolster the employment numbers until the elections.
In the mean time there were a lot of census workers thinking they could be called at any time to help out in another part of the country, pitting off efforts to obtain truly gainful employment that may actually contribute to society. Such a waste. I believe some of these finaglers will someday be made to answer for their shenanigans.
Real economic growth does not come from creating government jobs, it comes from creating jobs in the private sector by making the US an attractive place to do business. It makes better sense for our government to lower the taxes on US business and raise foreign import taxes and tariffs. This should boost the economy and get us out of this economic recession/depression.
By the way, stop putting my children into debt.

Its amazing how the unions will say they 4, 5, 6 million members behind them. That’s true, members that pay dues but you cant make them vote a certain way when they go into the booth. The politicians believe the big number and assume the worst. If they only knew most of these members are center right. I listened too long to the rank and file to believe otherwise.
