After Greek Neo-Nazi Party Gains Ground, Beck Warns Americans to Heed History

With a surge of support securing the Neo-Nazi party unprecedented parliamentary wins in Greece, and the ousting of Nicolas Sarkozy in lieu of a full-fledged Socialist president in France, recent developments across the eurozone might indicate that history is poised to repeat itself. Reviewing this disturbingly familiar pattern, Glenn Beck explained to viewers on Monday that Mitt Romney must hold fast and heed the lessons from history, lest America go down that same road.

Beck explained that the situation in Greece was likely a direct result of something he calls the “Bubba effect.” To refresh your memory on what this theory entails, envision a scenario where, in the wake of an Islamic terror attack and subsequent government ineptitude — particularly as regards national security and immigration — an everyman, or, “Bubba,” pushed to the brink, shoots someone who appears to be Muslim. Citizens rally to Bubba’s defense, blaming the government, not the murderer, for causing the problem in the first place. When citizens’ frustration with government reaches critical mass, a contingent can all too easily use that as an excuse to lash out. As we examine the situation in Greece below, it seems the Bubba effect may have already arrived.

One component leading to the unrest across the eurozone has been the enactment of austerity measures. Billed as an answer to the European sovereign debt crisis, austerity measures focus on achieving reduced levels of spending primarily through cutting public services and programs. This is done so that taxes need not increase to compensate for deficits. Needless to say, whenever public and social services are cut, those who champion said programs, particularly on the left, are bound to pose strong resistance. Such has been the case across europe, specifically Greece. With the exit of Sarkozy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is perhaps the only pro-austerity leader left in Europe.

Greece

In the Wake of Greeces Golden Dawn Parliamentary Wins, Glenn Beck Warns USWhile Greece has seen its share of civil unrest amidst the country’s severe economic collapse, the emergence of a Fascist party in the nation’s parliament is, by most measures, still an astonishing turn. The Blaze previously reported on the “Golden Dawn” party, which claimed 21 parliamentary seats (or 7%) and the anti-immigrant rhetoric of its hard-line leader, Nikolaos Michaloliakos.

Vowing to “rid this country of the stench” — a.k.a. immigrants — Golden Dawn’s insignia is entirely too reminiscent of the swastika and its adherents, reportedly clad in black, are often seen physically abusing and intimidating immigrants across the country. Needless to say, Greece’s immigrant community is understandably concerned and opponents are preoccupied with how best to marginalize the Neo-Nazi group that has now gained legitimacy in the halls of government.

Michaloliakos, who is also no fan of the media, said the day of “national revolution by the Greeks has begun against those who are selling us out and looting the sweat of the Greek people.”

It might also be worth noting that “Golden Dawn” takes its name from a “magical order” of Freemasons who practiced in the late 19th and early 20th century Britain. The order has been cited one of the greatest influences on Western occultism.

Watch below to see how Golden Dawn conducts itself, which, is much how you would imagine Nazis would.

Interestingly, The Christian Science Monitor points out an ironic fact — that the economic policies of Nazi Germany were in fact eerily similar to Communist ones. This is perhaps best illustrated in a TIME Magazine profile that named Adolf Hitler its 1934 Man of the Year. Below is an excerpt that explains the anti-Capitalist bent of the Nazi party.

“Most cruel joke of all, however, has been played by Hitler & Co. on those German capitalists and small businessmen who once backed National Socialism as a means of saving Germany’s bourgeois economic structure from radicalism. The Nazi credo that the individual belongs to the state also applies to business. Some businesses have been confiscated outright, on other what amounts to a capital tax has been levied. Profits have been strictly controlled. Some idea of the increasing Governmental control and interference in business could be deduced from the fact that 80% of all building and 50% of all industrial orders in Germany originated last year with the Government. Hard-pressed for food- stuffs as well as funds, the Nazi regime has taken over large estates and in many instances collectivized agriculture, a procedure fundamentally similar to Russian Communism.”

Now ponder the following chart that clearly depicts the rise of Nazism from 1924 to 1932 and its correlation to poverty and unemployment.

In the Wake of Greeces Golden Dawn Parliamentary Wins, Glenn Beck Warns US

According to Beck, the situation in Greece appears to be the ripe for the onset of a Bubba effect of its own. With a similar theme laying the groundwork for Adolf Hitler some 70-plus years ago, government inefficacy is, again, instigating the populace to take measures it normally would not. Fed-up with poverty, austerity measures, immigration and a host of other problems, citizens of Greece now look for someone to blame. That frustration and anger is then leveraged and exploited by radical elements of society to gain ground and, ultimately, real positions of authority.

Today, 20% of all Greek political parties comprise either Fascists or Communists. Beck reminded viewers that it only took 30% to elect Hitler.

Beck, who believes the Greeks have simply reached a saturation level and no longer trust their government, are vulnerable enough to succumb to the message of parties like Golden Dawn. Michaloliakos began by attacking the banks for “stealing” from citizens and then added fuel to the fire when he blamed illegal immigrants for exacerbating the problem by living off the country’s resources without contribution in return. Beck warned viewers to observe carefully as events unfold in Greece as that is where America is likely headed if the country stays on its current trajectory. That same type of worldview, according to Beck, will resonate with Americans in the years ahead.

France

Tying into the Nazi’s odd parliamentary gains in Greece, the first Socialist president since Francois Mitterrand — Francois Hollande — recently won the French presidential election. And he certainly did so with no help from the country’s wealthy, whom he openly loathes. With promises that he would dispense with austerity and instead pour millions into creating new civil service jobs, as well as raise taxes on the wealthy from 41% to  to 75%, Hollande eked out a victory against pro-U.S. Sarkozy. Due to his vow to discard austerity, German Chancellor Angela Merkel actually considered stepping in to campaign for the French incumbent.

The Socialist, who has never actually held a national government position, has also made headlines by stating “my real enemy is the world of finance.”

President Obama, meanwhile, telephoned Hollande to congratulate him on his victory and invite the French Socialist to the White House later this month. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said in a statement that the president “indicated that he looks forward to working closely with Mr Hollande and his government on a range of shared economic and security challenges.”

It‘s worth noting that France’s business owners have been in preparations to flee the country and Jean-Philippe Delsol, of France’s economic and fiscal research institute IREF, wrote that it is not only the wealthy who have sought to take flight. The New York Times, translating for Delsol, reports that  between 2006 and 2010 approximately 350,000 French citizens had formally registered their residency abroad, bringing the total to 1,471,622.

[...]Mr. Delsol said most young people setting up there were fleeing the constraints they endured in France. “They want to get hired easily and to hire others in order to create businesses without the fear that they will never be able to lay anyone off,” he wrote.France would always conserve its rich past, its culture and its cooking, he wrote. “But do we want to live in the world’s museum?”

With no wealth or private sector job producers, one of the world’s great cultures and countries is poised to live-out a real-life Atlas Shrugged.

…and so might go the rest of Europe.

Ron Paul is “the magic man” isn’t he? With a wave of his ineffectual wand, Ron Paul will change all the laws in the United States single-handedly.

Ron Paul will end suffering in America and around the world.
Ron Paul will turn lead into gold, and use that gold to back up the U.S. dollar.
Ron Paul will give sight to the blind and heal the crippled.
Ron Paul will clean up the water as he walks across it.

Oh Ron Paul, what WON‘T you do for us if we’d just make you the most powerful man in the world?

Ron Paul won’t defend our staunchest middle eastern ally, Israel.
Ron Paul won’t prosecute Islamists, because we did 9/11 to ourselves.
Ron Paul won’t stand up to his buddies who blame our economic problems on Jews.
Ron Paul won’t live up to the utopian views of his desperate followers.

It’s been said before, I’ll repeat it again, this country is head for civil war. It’s that simple. For people to wake up, they must go through hell in their lives. This goes double for those on the Left. They refuse to recognize that the path they‘re taking is leading society to it’s ruin. They’ll forsake History to live in Utopia. And that’s not how reality works.

Beck mentioned that Romney must win in November. He’s right. But even more important than Romney winning…

CONSERVATIVES MUST WIN BACK THE SENATE AND VOTERS MUST CLEAN OUT THE PROGRESSIVES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE.

Win back the Senate and get rid of these damn progressives screwing Americans under the table with Utopian visions of grandeur. It’s fine for them to do what you yourself would never get away with in your daily lives. They must go. If all LEGAL CITIZENS are created equal in this nation, we must rid ourselves of the politicians only looking to protect their place in the world using deceitful measures whenever possible.

I am for flushing any long term senator or rep. Democrat, Republican, Independent I don’t care what they want to call themselves if they have been there for more than two terms they need to be flushed period. There heads have gotten too fat all of them on both sides. Its time to bench them and put some new blood in the game. That of course doesn’t mean just any new blood either we need the right blood. There should also be an amendment made to give senator, and reps hard and fast term limits. I am over this crap. The founding fathers only ever envisioned someone serving as a senator or rep as a short term thing as a service to their state and country then return to their normal lifes. Unfortunately I guess the figured that people would just do that on their own with no law or rule set to limit that service. Its time that law be put in place.

From what I understand the Golden Dawn party is not Neo Nazi they are just pro Greek and anti immigrant because of the problems illegal immigration has caused. I have a lot of sympathy for them because this is the same thing that is happening in America. Illegal immigration and immigration in general is out of control and is poisoning our society. We need a Golden Dawn party not just in America but England, Australia and Canada to take our country back from the lunatics and end the foreign invasion and destruction of our countries! Let me give an example do you know that in this tough job environment high unemployment the State department has a program called the summer work program that provides jobs for 100k foreigners every year to come to the US. Now instead of us providing jobs for foreigners who just use and abuse our country and our hospitality why are we not placing 100k American students in these jobs instead? We have lost our minds and our leaders our selling us out to foreign powers. The only immigration that has made America what it is today is European immigration, when people say we are a land of immigrants we are a land of European immigrants and it is because of them that made us great. To say all immigrants are the same, equal, and deserving to be here and helped make America great is nonsense. There were no Mohammadens, Chinese, Indians, Koreans that signed the Constitution and founded this great country so I won’t bow to Americas multicultural garbage!

From what I understand the Golden Dawn party is not Neo Nazi they are just pro Greek and anti immigrant because of the problems illegal immigration has caused.

The Nazi party was created when a youngster name Adolf seen how his family was living poor and Jewish Immigrants were doing so well. When he became old enough, he wrote a book called Mien Kampf. The book resonated with many Germans at that time and Adolf soon grew into power. He cited how Immigrants were ruining the country and mentioned how the people of Germany should remain of pure blood and perfection, superior to any other race. Adolf was against the Communists, Social Democrats (hmmm…) and Jews in particular. He also deplored, Homosexuals, Blacks, Jehovah Witnesses (everyone fears them…even animals) and his political opponents.

Nazism was the very far right into left field, of anything the Left could think of. That’s what Beck was hinting at here. Beware of your actions.

You know what’s interesting? If you take the above and flip “Black” with “White” and Jehovah Witnesses with Cathloics, you can see shades of Obama brewing…

But you‘ll never know it if you were uneducated and the Media refuses to expose as much as Obama’s similarities with Hitler.

I listened to this morons rants. What a mouthful of bile and bad breath. What he doesn’t say is many of his “illegal immigrants” are the same people who have been picking up the work load of vacant Greeks not on their work sites. Too many Greeks take vacations or are on strike complaining about how hard done by they are. In fact Greeks have been on vacation since the end of WW2 piling up entitlements enjoying the life fantastic. Money was pouring out of Greek government coffers and not enough was going in. Either Greeks were taking early retirement or were on long European vacations sucking back wine and pouring on olive oil. Either way a vacancy occurred and intellectual Greeks filled the void with guess who, willing illegal immigrants that kept operating costs down for smart Greek entrepenures. Kinda sound familiar doesn’t it? Southern States and California. Illegal immigrants filling the void of people not willing to work but more than willing to stick their hands out for free government money.
And you wonder why Greece and western democracies are failing. Scream all you want dufus Nazi, ya took the cash, now pay the piper.

What you say is all correct to a degree and let me add one more further astounding fact to it… For no other reason other than to make all of these brain dead Zionist stop and think for a minute.. The very same people that have set up this system and have implemented in America were doing the exact same thing in Germany when the Nationalists came along. They set out to stop the Judaic NWO and almost succeded! If they had the world wouldn’t be the current cess pool it is today.

      @individualism
While I agree with many of your points, 9/11 was most certainly not a false flag operation. The aftermath is just a case of “never let a crisis go to waste”.

      @Tech
You’re such a hypocrite. You don’t oppose big government, you just want to be part of the elite that controls the government. That’s why you support Nazism while opposing Communism, which in reality only differ in whose pulling the strings and how those pulling them choose to use their power. You claim to support Paul because he’s for small government but the reality is you just want to break the hold of Marxists so you yourself can be in control. You claim to support Paul’s position on abortion but then announce your support for some of the greatest practitioners of euthanasia in world history. You claim to support the Constitution but then, in true fascist sentiment, make statements like “kneel before the Constitution or get out”. I support the Constitution Tech, but I kneel before no creation of man.

So Beck is going to support a guy that will send us deeper into debt and closer to collapse so we can have our own Hitler rise?

Romney doesnt cut one cent from current spending levels. He is funded by the same banks Obama is. He wants nothing to challenge the FED!!!

I don’t think Beck is as much supporting Romney as he is pushing against Obama. People here need to be real. We all have someone we “know” would do better than Romney and Obama. But that is not reality. Reality is one of these two guys is going to be sworn in in January. We can do all the wishful thinking we want but it is only causing us to not gear up for what we all know is going to happen. There are too many people for whatever reason in the primaries already showed that Romeny is going to be the guy. It‘s not who I picked but I can’t sit around and moap and wish for something that just isn’t going to happen. I think that is where Beck is. It isn’t what he wants, but he knows you can;t split the vote else Obama gets back in. And I think we can at least all agree on that is the last thing we want to happen.

1st of all anyone that shows any and I mean any National Pride in Europe us called a Nazi. They just won’t put up with you putting your Country First. That being sad. What does Beck and his stooges think is going to happen here? We have to pick either Policing the World or Social Programs which a big part is SS , good luck making cuts on that side. We are Bankrupt, this will end, just a matter of time. Glenn what do we do??? Buy Gold?

The fourth Reich is rising in Greece? It looks that way doesn’t it? Their insignia is similar to the Nazi insignia and their anti immigrant rhetoric is similar as well.Economic collapse will usher in an oppressive regime and the killings and all the rest that goes with it.

You know Mitt Romney is a lot of things, but I don’t think Nazi is one of them. And until Obama nationalizes the means of production across all industries, I don‘t think you’re allowed to call him a Communist, either.

Sorry Sir but Mitt Romney is no Nazi.
      He is however a Moderate.
Which is almost as bad as a Liberal
Obama is not a Communist YET
He needs 1 more term to declare himself
      Dictator an President for LIFE.
He is however a Marxist which is CLOSE.
an a necessity If you are going to be
      A Communist Dictator.

You can be a Marxist without being a Communist.
But You can’t be a Communist without being a Marxist.

      @vox
Obama already effectively owns GM, has tried (and failed) to run “green” manufacturers with government money, and has passed legislation that could lead to a complete takeover of the health care system. He wants communism even if he hasn’t quite created it yet.
