After Israel Deploys Warships to Red Sea, Iran Sends Warship of Its Own

CAIRO (The Blaze/AP) — An official Iranian news agency says Iran is sending a submarine and a warship to the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea.

Press TV quotes the commander, Rear Adm. Habibollah Sayyari, as saying the deployment will serve the country’s interests and “convey the message of peace and friendship to all countries.”

The item on Press TV’s website Tuesday said the presence of the Iranian navy would “tighten security for all countries.”

Sayyari said the ships would also fight against pirates.

Somalia, on the southern coast of the Gulf of Aden, is a base for many pirate gangs. The body of water is south of Iran.

Interestingly enough, however, Iran’s action comes on the heels of Israel sending two additional warships to the Red Sea border with Egypt following warnings that militants are planning another attack on southern Israel from Egyptian soil.

Love Israel or hate it the fact remains that Iran is quickly catching up in military proweress and technology and the point is arriving where Israel is no longer the 800 pound gorilla that gets what it wants in every instance.

Besides having the S-300 anti-aircraft/missile system, Iran also bought Sunburn shore to ship missiles from Russia that are capable of 2.5 mach speed that skim along just above the surface of the water and are undetectable by any means available today, including radar.

If the two countries engage in warfare, I seriously doubt that Israel could win a conventional war against Iran at this point in time and could well be forced to resort to nuclear weapons in a last ditch effort to defend itself.

If that happened, I think that would be the end to the entire Middle East as we know it today.

Somehow I doubt seriously that the administration will aid Israel; if anything he may actually have the US Navy strike out against her when conflict comes between Iranian Navy ships and those of the Isralei Navy.

Expect the first major clash of arms to come around Sept 20, just before the UN votes on the matter of a new Palestinian statehood. And right afterwards, expect Israel to be deemed an hostile nation and “peacekeeping forces” sent into the new states boundaries, and into Israel as well for “security reasons.”

Of course the “security reasons” will actually be a military conquest of the nation.

Had to laugh at KickinBack’s “Iran has a submarine?” comment.

I wonder if the persian population of Iran is more intelligent than the Arabs of Iraq. Spent a good bit of time as an advisor in Iraq, and they did not strike me as overy brilliant. They could not grasp the use of a modern toilet, and seemed more content to deficate just about anywhere else, to include the stairwell inside thier own buildings.

I advised the National Police, and a good number of times, we got bulked up fire power wise with an Iraqi Army tank unit. The old Russian tanks they had were something else, and generally broke down every couple hundred yards. Every single time they fired one, they would send a gunner to our medic, with a broken arm. They never seemed to learn to get out of the way when it recoiled.

I have been in some scary situations in my life, but you could not pay me enough money to go underwater with a bunch of goat eating lovers of the false prophet Muhammed. I can only imagine the stench in that sub, let alone the maintenance nightmare of it.

Actually I was speaking of arabs, but in Afghanistan, I lived with the Afghanistan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) and they are Persian. We moved from Lash Kar Gah into Kandahar during the surge. The U.S built a facility called the JRAC just outside of Kandahar Airfield. It was very modern, all brand new, with modern baracks, modern bathrooms (with eastern toilets), showers, laundry facility. In less than 72 hours, the Afghanis destroyed much of the place. I went in with some of their officers and checkout the showers (they complained that they were not to standard and did not work properly). It was filthy beyond imagination. They tore the shower heads off the wall, one shower was clogged with remains of a dead chicken, and the threw trash, old razors, soap boxes…. on the floor, as they were to lazy to take it out to the trash service dumpsters (provided by American tax dollars). I asked the officers why it was so dirty, and they explained that the Americans had failed to hire a crew to come clean it every day.

The latrine was so foul, I can not describe it. Fecal matter was everywhere. The barracks had a stench that would curl your nose hair. They crapped in the stairway, because the were to lazy to walk to a latrine.

I have yet to go to Africa, so I can not describe it. I spent six months in Haiti, and it was worse than the middle east. have you been to Africa? If so, please describe it to me, and enlighten me.

BTW, what African nation has subs? If one does, please tell me, was it America, Europe, or Japan that built the subs for them? I could be wrong, but last time I checked anything purchased by me that was in any way shape or form, technologically advanced, it did not have “made in Africa” stamped on it.

I may be biased, but there is not much out of Africa that I have had any dealings with, that is worth a flip. Seems like most of the slavery in the modern world happens to be in Africa. It also occured to me that most of the modern genocides happen in Africa. Voo Doo comes from Africa. AIDS, rape, starvation, and heathen behavior also seem to be prevelent in Africa. Half the murders in America are from African decent peoples.

Recently, I think we have a person from African decent show up in America. Half Kenyan I believe. He seems to kind of follow suit with what is over there. Our debt has doubled, we now have 46 million on foodstamps, he hangs out with known terrorists that bombed our subway, and asked for revolution to kill millions of Americans, and to top it all off, his ugly wife looks like a baboon that swallowed a dip of snuff. She seems content to knock America, then spend millions of our tax dollars on her lavish million dollar vacations.

got any more smart mouth questions for me? I am sure I can give you more answer than you ever bargained for.

In other words, why can’t we call Africans violent when we witness the flash mobs, the school bus beatdowns, the random shootings of white folks, etc., but we CAN call Arabs filthy based on the obvious evidence (such as you have provided here tonight) that they are? No I’ve never been to Africa but unfortunately Africa came to me. I will only add one thing to your analysis. Even though I’ve often heard of about how nasty many Arabs were in certain parts of the world, I would imagine that you and our contractors are probably seeing it to a greater degree due to the level of disdain that they hold for Americans occupying their lands. I doubt that I would ever stoop to the level which you describe having witnessed but I can assure you that if any foreign Nation ever attempted to occupy the US I would resist in every conceivable manner.

On your last point you are right again. I am no supporter of Israel or any other foreign Nation. The Father of our Nation encouraged us to observe good faith and justice towards all Nations; cultivate peace and harmony with all and seek to avoid entangling alliances.. I would heed his advice, cut off all foreign aid immediately and withdraw all US troops from foreign bases. Then put them on the Mexican border.. lol But who are we kidding right? The Jewish Apartheid currently occupying America is never going to do anything in the best interests of Americans.. George Washington is an anathema to them..

      “Iran has a submarine?”

Guess which three countries have the most submarines?

      You might be surprised…

It’s America, then North Korea (something like 60 of them), then China.

That’s right… North Korea has more than China, but numbers say nothing about the quality of the machinery.

Iran is 5th with something around 20.

If you want to get into the details, Iran has more of just about everything than Israel. The only thing Israel has more of is Aircraft (about 2x more) and a higher military budget (about 70% higher). Although Israel would still win in a straight out war, Iran is quickly catching up.

The real trump card for Israel is the US. Israels military size is appropriate for what it is… but if they get into a modern war with Iran + ANY other country, they will absolutely need our help. (strategic nukes aside of course… nuclear arms void any tactical analysis of a countries military strength, so it’s easier to just ignore)
