Al Gore Says He‘s ’Cheering on the Occupy Wall Street Movement’

Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore is joining the growing chorus of Democrats who are throwing their weight behind the Occupy Wall Street movement. In fact, he‘s so enthusiastic about the protests that he claims he’s “cheering” the revolutionists on.
On his “journal,” he explained that he’s been watching and reading about the protests “with both interest and admiration.” Praising a New York Times editorial that was published this past Sunday, Gore wrote the following:
From the economy to the climate crisis our leaders have pursued solutions that are not solving our problems, instead they propose policies that accomplish little. With democracy in crisis a true grassroots movement pointing out the flaws in our system is the first step in the right direction. Count me among those supporting and cheering on the Occupy Wall Street movement.
A portion of the Times editorial, which he said “hit the nail on the head,” reads:
“The message — and the solutions — should be obvious to anyone who has been paying attention since the economy went into a recession that continues to sock the middle class while the rich have recovered and prospered. The problem is that no one in Washington has been listening. [...]
On one level, the protesters, most of them young, are giving voice to a generation of lost opportunity.”
But Gore went above and beyond simply “cheering” for the young protesters. He concluded his piece by posting a link, encouraging readers to “support” the movement. Upon clicking on it, readers are taken to a donation page for the “NYC General Assembly” for Occupy Wall Street. It is here that readers can give money to help prop up the protest movement.
The Huffington Post‘s Hayley Miller reminds us that Gore appeared on Keith Olbermann’s show, “Countdown,” where he stressed the need for an American uprising. Here’s the bizarre quote:
“We need to have an American spring — you know, the Arab spring. The non-violent part of it isn’t finished yet, but we need to have an American spring, a kind of an American non-violent change where people on the grassroots get involved again. Not the, you know, not in the Tea Party-style.”

If Al gore was taxed 10 million, he would get a crony deal for 20 million.
If he was taxed 20 million he would get a deal for 30 million.
High Tax rates don’t bother Gore, because what ever taxes take his buds will replace.

“The two science courses he had to take, Natural Science in his sophomore and senior years, he managed to receive a D and a C+ respectively. Gore’s college science performance was easily predictable, however, as his high school transcripts showed that the only courses in which Mr. Gore scored A’s were in art and RELIGIOUS studies.”

Unfortunately, the majority of people will not make demands on their elected officials to put a stop to the actions of the criminal anti-constitutional people we have allowed to infest our government and it’s very close to being too late. Once elections are suspended “for the good of the country” due to “an emergency”, it‘s a done deal and we’re third world.

Lets use “one example”……
The self proclaimed… green energy ….ENTREPRENEUR ….
King of the green energy cause …Has a mansion….
That uses so much enegy………. its beyond hypocrite….
One would think ,he would lead by example….but no..
he holds to the…. “do as I say”….. “not as I do ”….theology.

Posted on October 13, 2011 at 2:56pmand … “we” are going to take back America just how?
Do you really believe these people are not playing for keeps?
Do you really believe if they see themselves not winning in 12, they’ll allow all the emergencies we currently have (Iran, Wall Street Protests, Bankruptcy, the housing market continual decline, the upcoming college loan blowup) to go to waste?
I hope I am wrong … I truly, truly hope I am wrong, but I don’t see many people at all doing a thing about this. I don’t see people contacting their congresspeople and making respectful, but audible demands that we end this craziness. If people don’t have the time or willpower to do that now, once a national crisis happens, it’s far too late. Unless people stop being complacent with just telling themselves and each other that it will change in 2012, the pipe dream will end in a nightmare.

Our founding Fathers made it easy for us to take back our country and protect it from tyranny. The people have been asleep for quite some time, their lives have been disturbed and are now learning the reasons why. The people of this working nation had no idea what hit them or how hard it hit. Now that things have revealed to the people about what type of change has been taking place over the last 46 years we have decided that we are not happy about our government giving away our nation. It is not theirs yet, and we will Unite with our Constitution in hand, the one that was ratified, start at the state level and make sure that the Representatives you vote for know the Constitution and their position within it. The Representatives are to represent their constituents and nothing more. 435 Representatives that follow the Constitution would be a major start, don’t you think?
