Al Qaeda Commander Calls for Islamic Rule in Libya

CAIRO (AP) — An al-Qaida commander who escaped a U.S. prison has urged Libyans to overthrow Moammar Gadhafi’s regime and establish Islamic rule.

Abu Yahia al-Libi says in a video posted on a militant website that after the fall of the regimes in Tunisia and Egypt, it is now Gadhafi’s turn. A transcript of the video was provided Sunday by SITE Intel, a U.S. group that monitors militant messages. The authenticity of the 31-minute video posted on militant websites late Saturday could not be verified.

Gadhafi has accused the protesters and rebels seeking to end his longtime rule of being tools of al-Qaida. The rebels have no known links to the terrorist organization.

Al-Libi escaped from Afghanistan’s Bagram prison in 2005. His nickname Al-Libi is Arabic for Libyan.

Fox News:

The rebels opposing Muammar al-Qaddafi’s regime have retreated after government-led forces take control of the oil town of Brega.

Fox News Reporter Leland Vittert reports live from Benghazi, and says that the rebels can’t be counted on “to hold any defensive positions.”

Definitely thought obama had something up his sleeve – about Lybia’s Gadhafi – when he said that he had the noose around his neck.

Gadhafi made obama’s cousin Raila Odinga – of Kenya – RICH with oil money.

    *****

As a US Senator, Obama/Soetoro – as a TRAITOR – to our country – traveled to Kenya on US taxpayer money – to campaign for Raila Odinga as President of Kenya – whose mission was to have Kenya become a safe haven for TERRORISTS – and to place Kenya under Sharia Law.

Odinga is being prosecuted by the International Crimes Court – for his CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY – in the mass murder of Christians in the riots that broke out – after Odinga lost his presidential bid.

As a US Senator Obama had an Epic FAILURE in getting Odinga elected.

What outrages Muslims and what doesn’t

It is an all too familiar drama, the Muslim world erupts in rage and calls for the worst sort of violence over an insult to Islam The imagined victimization and angry death threats over cartoons or criticism

There is no sympathy in Islam for infidels defending themselves against Muslims

And the Koran makes the distinction quite clear, basically everyone is a fair target for a Muslim soldier

If the Infidels speaks up, jihad is in order

    This is how it works

Call them Al Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood or Hamas, they are all just different branches of the Islamic military.

So what happens when they get the Bomb?

Every stinking day for two years there is new news about some kind of corruption by the president. Because of the overwhelming amount of corruption on a daily basis, we are forced to focus on the present corruption. It’s called corruption fatigue. It’s when we become numb to the atrocities because we are bombarded daily. When people start saying things like “no shock here”, corruption fatigue is setting in.

The fact he is on the golf course proves he is running from problems rather than dealing with them. He is in way over his head. I feel a conservative callifate growing. His days as leader are short. If the “rebels” succeed look for new efforts for more unrest in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Greece, Albania and the like.

Theme Song for the Muslim Brotherhood
(Adapted from the theme of the Monkeys circa 1966)

      Here we come, Sneakin’
      Down the street.
We get the funniest looks from
      The infidels we meet.

      Hey, hey, we’re the Muslims
People say we don’t mess around.
      Caus’ we’re too busy killin’,
      And puttin’ the infidels down.

We go and do what we want to,
      We always do Allah’s will,
We don’t have time to get restless,
We got many mosques to build.

      Hey, hey, we’re the Muslims
People say we don’t mess around.
      Caus’ we’re too busy killin’,
      And puttin’ the infidels down.

We‘re just tryin’ to be faithful,
      Come and watch us pray,
      We’re the next Muslim generation,
And we’ve got something to say.

      Any time, Or anywhere,
      Just look over your shoulder
      Guess who’ll be standing there

      Hey, hey, we’re the Muslims
You never know where we’ll be found.
So you infidels better get ready,
      Caus’ we’re comin’ to town.

@ CHIRODOC…….I hear what your saying, however, I would simply point out that “radical” Islam will not dissipate as you suggest, but simply regroup. The reason……there is no such thing as “radical” Islam. It is the invention of the MSM and those who don’t understand or have not studied Islam. If one studies the Qu’ran and the other Muslim sacred writings in the Hadith (words and actions of Muhammad), and the Hadith Qudsi (words of Allah), as well as, who Muhammad was and his violent and aggressive tactics historically one cannot help but to conclude that “radicals” are simply just consistent in their religion. “Moderate” Muslims are really the anomaly here as they have either migrated away from or ignore historical and classical understandings of these writings and the teachings that are mainstream, especially in the 4 large Sunni schools (seminaries). That is why they are viewed as apostate or reprobate and are attacked in many instances just as if they were infidels. That is why so many “moderate” Muslims are quiet and do not speak out. There will be no dispatching of “radical” Islam. It is culminating and escalating to a culture and religious clash of worlds that is only going to end in violence, war, and devastation unfortunately. When this will happen know one knows. Will it happen is assured.

The Rebels never had a chance without outside help. When you watch the news you could tell that all they were doing was wasting limited ammunitions for show on TV. Especially those so called anti-aircraft weapons installed in mini trucks that could barely stand up under the weight of those weapons.

When you watch them firing the anti-aircraft they are what looked like WWII style manually operated, only useful on slow flying piston powered air craft like Cessna 152′s etc. Any one that has any sort of military training would see that firiing an anti-tank rocket at a fast moving jet is a waste. There is no electronics to lock on to either the heat of the jet engine(s) or on any electroninc signals coming from the planes radar.

So it is inevitable that these rebels will loose unless either the EU/NATO or the US intervenes.
