Visibly unhappy about tomorrow’s scheduled contempt vote against Attorney General Eric Holder, MSNBC’s Rev. Al Sharpton invited Rep. John Mica (R-Fla.) onto his show Wednesday only to call him a “conspiracy” theorist and shout over him as he answered questions about federal gun-walking operations “Fast and Furious” and “Wide Receiver.”

Sharpton began by asking Mica about previous statements he made about Fast and Furious being invented to impose stricter gun regulations and whether he thought the Obama administration was “hoping” for the resulting gun violence. Mica replied no, but stood by his assertion that the federal government was trying to find a way to increase gun control and blame drug cartel violence on guns sold in the U.S.

The Reverend then asked whether or not the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee believed Holder had specific knowledge about the gunrunning that took place and claimed the committee’s chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) had said the attorney general was not aware of the program.

What Issa actually said is that there is no evidence proving Holder or President Obama knew about the operation one way or another because the requested documents have not been turned over to Congress.

Mica echoed Issa, saying there was no way to determine how much knowledge Holder had because he has refused to provide the documents requested under a Congressional subpoena. Somehow, Sharpton interpreted his reply as an admission of the attorney general’s innocence and asked, “Well, then why are you trying to hold him in contempt if he may be innocent?”

“Because he is in contempt, he is in contempt of not providing us the documents,” Mica replied.

Following some additional crosstalk, things started getting a little more personal when the congressman from Florida accused Sharpton of “talking somewhat in circles.”

“No, I think y’all are talking in circles,” Sharpton said, referring to Republicans.

Sharpton then grilled Mica about the Bush-era gunrunning operation Wide Receiver, asking him why the House Oversight Committee hadn’t opened similar investigations to see if that too was a concocted plan to restrict gun rights in the United States. Mica admitted he didn’t know much about the program but humored the host anyway.

“First, I know no one was killed and secondly…” Mica started but was quickly interrupted before he could give an answer.

“You said you didn’t know much about them. How do you know they were done orderly?” Sharpton asked.

“Because we do not have reports of anyone being killed or maimed in these programs,” Mica explained. “What we were trying to do is track guns, that’s been done many times.”

But Sharpton wasn’t pleased with that answer, so he continued prying and asked pretty much the exact same question again and so he got pretty much the same answer.

“You started by saying you know very little about the committee and its amazing how you got to know more and more as we talked. Congressman John Mica thank you very much for your time tonight we’ll keep talking…” Sharpton said trying to end the segment, but this time Mica interrupted the host. It is likely that the host was trying to argue Micah knew very little about Wide Receiver not the House committee but misspoke.

“I know a great deal about the committee, I’ve been on it a long time and I certainly know more than what you are providing your viewers,” Mica added.

“I’m asking you questions, I think you’re the one that provided my viewers a lot to think about tonight,” Sharpton shot back.

“You’re questions are just going in circles…”

“Yeah, that’s right. We are circling the wagons around how very suspicious your selection of witnesses has been,” Sharpton said.

“It’s a good attempt to blur the issue tonight, but I‘m afraid you haven’t succeeded,” Mica said.

      I’m not a doctor, but I”m thinking that Al’s either doing Meth in his off time or his A.I.D.’s medications are effecting his brain, or what little of it is still there. The Network who employes this nitwit, is being run by a true hater of all that’s good and decent. Another suggestion is that after all the pork this twit has eaten he finally ate some infected may be suffering from Trichinosis or Tertiary Syphilis . This creature is not normal and certainly is not a man of Jesus Christ nor any deity who demands truthfulness and love for their follow human.       Look in his eyes. Do the same for Pelosi, Reid, even Carter in a recent photo. Maybe it takes a gift but the missing soul, the demonics staring back out is so unmistakable I am amazed no one else has mentioned this. There are others in positions of power where this is quite striking and very visible. Even in the entertainment world. Something new, I almost never saw it before in video and Photos over the last few decades, except only very rarely. In the 70′s on TV many times you could clearly see Carters eyes and this look I am describing was never there before. It’s like satan thinks his hand is so strong in positions of power he no longer needs to hide. Somewhere else on the Blaze is a recent story with Carters pic, go find it and look for what I am describing. Elsewhere is one of Pelosi, same thing. While it may take discernment to see them when they are hiding these entities are no longer hiding, anyone looking should see it. Also, all the people who have this look in their eyes are now publicly doing and saying things you would expect from a soulless demon, as if the person who used to be there is either gone or buried inside. I would say the time of the end is even closer than many think it is.

      Call me crazy but I see it clearly. Not to mention the actions and words from these people bear out the look I see.

      Al can’t hold any conversation without playing the race card. No one had ever heard of him until Twana Brawley and he never has apologized to the men he accused of raping her.
      Does anyone know what church he is a clergyman in? Is the title Reverend self rewarded? I seem to remember readin that Rev Als church was in his home so that he got tax exempt status. Also seem to recall something about back taxes. We all know that Epic Holdup and Sweet Old Barack will not let anything happen to Al while they are in office but maybe a Republican administration will at least look into the tax scam.

    Micah should have reminded Sharpton that the hearings have nothing to do with investigating whether Fast and Furious was “concocted as part of a conspiracy theory”, but to get to the bottom of what went wrong with what Sharpton himself agrees was a horribly botched operation that resulted in hundreds of people getting killed.

What do you think would have happened if somebody had pulled the plug on this operation? I guess you imagine that some Mexican gangster would have gone to his cartel leader and said “some dude was going to sell me a thousand guns, but he backed out,” and then the boss would have said, “darn, that means we’ll have to cancel our whole reign of terror and violence, because there’s no where else in the whole wide world where we can get those guns.” Is that what you think would have happened?       No. Let’s be clear. Some genius thought that using taxpayer funds to buy guns to give to known criminals for the sole reason of creating crime, was a good idea. That these guns and the resulting crimes committed with them might change public opinion against the Second Amendment was the desired goal. The only “botched” part of this entire plan was that for some reason America’s “bitter-clingers” didn’t change their mind on gun rights. It didn’t create the kind of public outcry that was intended from the start.

      Please stop saying this was a “botched operation” because it worked exactly as conceived. The death of Brian Terry was murder. The fact that my taxes were used to put the murder weapon into the hands of a known criminal is unconscionable. Someone needs to be held responsible.

      I wish that he had remembered to tell Sharpie that F&F included only 2 tracers on all those guns and that during Wide Receiver we were working WITH the Mexican Government and not HIDING it from them and that it was STOPPED in 2007 because the cartels were figuring out they should REMOVE

    Hey, Al. There was a whistleblower on Fast & Furious that Fox interviewed over the weekend. He was very upset that nothing has progressed with this scheme. He knew Brian Terry. So Al and Jesse and the Black Caucus shut the hell up. The American people are tired of this administration’s pick and choose laws that they want to enforce.       I read the entire Fortune article and it agrees with what Issa is claiming. That although ATF knew the guns were bought by straw purchasers, and they knew who the straw purchasers were, no indictments followed (not a one) because the prosecutors claimed there wasn’t enough evidence to indict. It was the the DOJ that wouldn’t bring about indictments.

      I have no idea why you think that Fox “made the whole thing up”.

      @Encinom, instead of spreading crap that is not true, why not put your feet in Brian Terry’s Parents shoes for a moment. Think how it would feel to be a Parent of a Son who was killed, no murdered and still have no answers as to how or why it even happened. As a Parent would you not want to have closure as to why your Son died, who is responsible for your Sons killing and to see that person/persons charged and locked up? Brian Terry’s Parents deserve answers, the 200 Mexican families deserve answers and so do the American people. Maybe if you pulled your head out of your backside for once and think about someone other than your own self, you may end up having a clue.

      Everyone here: I just read the CNN/Fortune article which Encinom so considerately put forth so that all may become “enlightened”. It is EXTREMELY twisted because the people named in the article are made out to be heroes when they were corrupt, and the brave whistle blowers who went through extreme intimidation were made out to be the villains. If I were those good and decent whistle blowers who came forth to do the right thing and someone had yet again slandered my good name and THREATENED my family I would be so damn disgusted I would not know where to turn. Do not trust just this one article which TWISTS everything around to suit their purpose. Look at other sources. I just read the F&F book by Katie Pavlich, and some of the names are the same as in that CNN/Fortune article but the decent people who were threatened and punished for their trouble in standing up to their superiors are now being maligned yet again.
