So the “socialists” take the cities and universities, and the “free people” take the rural U.S. Of course, you will no longer have schools because the Federal Government will no longer be funding them, and the wealthy parts of states that were generating most of the state income taxes will wash up. So no more education for the free people either. While plenty of conservatives go to universities, the vast majority belong to “the socialists”, so you won’t have anyone learning basic skills to survive in the modern global economy. I mean, if you’re going to play this thought experiment out, it just doesn’t work. Without liberal cities like NYC, D.C., LA, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, San Diego, Philadelphia (and on and on and on), you’re country of “free people” will look more like Cuba than you’d think :)

One of the first things the federal government did was to force our state to restructure our government to remove all powers from the governorship and give it to the state budget and control board. Our governor is merely a figurehead (Queen of England style). If the state of AZ ever considered secession, I would fully support their efforts (including moving back there, as I loved Chandler hen I lived there).

They do not own another State.
And the States as a whole, own the Feds.
The Feds do not own anything.
Everything belongs to the States.
The Feds exist to make sure everyone plays well together
And to make sure that no one outside of the States can tell the States what to do.
Go back and read our history read what they writing while they were forming this country.

~ in accordance to the agreement between Texas & The United States Of America, ~LAW~ agreed upon at the time by both parties ,when The U.S. wanted Texas to join The Union clearly states that Texas may LAWFULLY secede at ANY point in time …and that law stands valid to this day.
I do not know what other States have that lawful right but hopen somebody will give me a list…..

Texas has the mass , variety of services ,farm/ranch land ,infrastructure(shipping ports highways air & rail) ,MONEY ,modist military supplys & equipment ,education assets for the children/youth (the future) ,medical & research centers/suppliers ….not saying it would be easy, but when freedom is under assault options ought be considered to maintaine freedom.

Enough money has been thrown at the problem to fix it but it has been improperly used and abused. What you don’t see are black political and business leaders trying to make major changes in these communities to stop the endless cycle. They go in make a speech and tell them how hard they are working for them and disappear.
As to MLK day, I think an equivalent number of days as we have Federal Holiday’s should be given to people and they should use them to celebrate who/what ever they see fit. If we did this then everyone would have their own choice as to what’s important to them and no one would or should be offended.

Prior to that New Hampshire and Arizona did not observe the day. Throughout the 1990s this was heavily criticized. After a 1992 proposition to recognize the holiday in Arizona did not pass, the NFL boycotted hosting Super Bowl XXVII at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ. The hip-hop group Public Enemy recorded a song titled “By The Time I Get To Arizona”, on their 1991 album, Apocalypse 91… The Enemy Strikes Black, in which they describe assassinating Arizona Governor Fife Symington III, for his opposition to the holiday.
On May 2, 2000, South Carolina governor Jim Hodges signed a bill to make Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday an official state holiday. South Carolina is the last state to recognize the day as a paid holiday for all state employees. Prior to this, employees could choose between celebrating Martin Luther King Day or one of three confederate holidays.
While all states now observe the holiday, some did not name the day after King.
In Arizona and New Hampshire, Martin Luther King Day is known as Martin Luther King, Jr. Civil Rights Day.

To him, it’s always outside influences that cause problems within the community – there is no personaly responsibility for those who live within the community… they are all just victims. I’d like Al to explain that if all negative consequences are from outside influences, why aren’t asian or latino communities as voilent as black communities? Don‘t tell me it’s racism. if it were, blacks wouldn’t be killing other blacks – they’d be targeting whitey, the oppressor.
Hey Al – you really want things to change in your black communities? How about you go in and get your own house in order first. Let’s see you take on street gangs, the huge number of black men who abandon thier children leaving single moms behind, drop out rates of black kids, and the entertainment industry’s glorification of the Gangsta lifestyle.

AZ would likely be joined by, at least, the other 24+ States currently fighting the Marxists infesting Federal gubmint over the destruction of the USA ( healthcare, sharia ‘law’, gun rights, unions vs right-to-work, energy development, EPA overreach, nihilistic monetary policy, etc, etc, etc). By the time the dust settled in an ideological divorce, I rather think the Marxists would end up with a small population of useful idiots we could easily fit into a medium sized state, say, New Mexico. Then we would just build The Great Wall of New Mexico around the North, East and West sides of the state, sever ties, and leave them to it.
