If you miss the live video of Restoring Love, be sure to watch it on-demand — see how here.

It was a performance that could easily become one of the most memorable at Cowboys Stadium.

The crowd at Restoring Love erupted when recently christened American citizen Alex Boye delivered a positively chilling performance of the National Anthem.

In fact, it brought tears to the eyes of Glenn Beck:

I’m afraid Mr. Alex Boye is now officially a “terrorist” by Homeland Security’s guidelines. Paying cash for a cup of coffee is listed as ‘terrorist activity” as well as now singing the national anthem. Oh, and reading a book is also suspicious activity. Waving an American flag is definitely terrorist behavior. Our country has gone completely nuts all in the name of “fighting terrorism”. We will destroy ourselves from within just as the jihadists had planned for us. They could have never imagined their plan working so well.

Why do people put their hands over their heart during the anthem? You are only suppose to do it during the pledge. Also, did you know this was started by a socialist? It also used to be done just like the nazi hail hitler sign towards the flag,, but after ww2 they changed it and started putting the hand over the heart. Silly people .

Nope. The only version that should be played is by the US Marine Corps (pronounced ‘core’ for those in Rio Linda) Band. The National Anthem is not a “soul” song sung with gross over embellishment. This artistic krap makes me sick! Semper Fi.

I’ve never shared this before but several months ago I was in my car and listening to Mark Levin. He told listeners he was going to play the national anthem. He said if you’re unable to exit your car safely to perhaps turn on your lights or if you were able to safely pull over to do so and stand for the national anthem. I live in the country outside of Fresno and was traveling on a four lane highway when he made this request. I pulled off the shoulder and exited my car to stand at attention in respect of our national anthem. There’s just something about the traditional rendition that is always emotional for me. As I got back into my car within my line of sight I could see four cars coming from the opposite direction parked on the side of the road and two cars behind me. As I started my car and entered back onto the highway I observed all the cars mentioned before doing the same. Wow! America the beautiful! P.S. Title 36 Sec. 1 Para 301 of the US Code states the Anthem is to be saluted even when the Flag isn’t present.

All of us who love the ideals, principles, and the Constitution of the US of A should stand and salute both men, and everyone attending. They are striving to make a positive difference in the direction of our Republic. Your incessant attacks only make the rest of us who support, or supported, Rep. Paul look like wild eyed crackpots, which most of us are not.

Be truthful all you want, but at the appropriate time. It makes no sense to post something like you posted under this article. He’s the Rock Star now..We all thought that he was a libertarian because of his stance on the Constitution..but it turns out that he was schilling for Mitt Romney and the Mormon plan for America. which is that they will rule the World Order by giving or withholding food..they have amassed a large holding of food sources such as farms and orchards..and they own vast amounts of news media and power companies and that this plan has been in the works for a long time..His father George was trying before him.. Keep in mind that the Rothschilds are behind the Communists/NWO/Secret Societies such as the FreeMasons which are backed by the NWO/Zionist/Communist Rothschilds..They are in direct conflict with Christianity and freedon.. Their End of Days Prophesy is that the Constitution will be hanging by a thread and the White Horse Prophesy Mormon will arise to restore the Constitution and and will rule a Mormon Kingdom because God and Jesus are Mormon..Remember ..in the last days..even the elect will be fooled.

Thank you, Trouble2, I was oblivious to that fact for the reason you mention (I don’t watch GBTV).

As I said above, I do know why the video isn’t working: apathy and incompetence. The person responsible for publishing this page failed to insert the content ID into his pasted code, and then didn’t bother to load the page to make sure it was published properly. That is incompetence (not inserting the content ID) compounded by apathy (not checking what you published).

ReadyToStand, I am hanging around and reloading the page in the VAIN hope that someone would fix the error. I really wanted to see this performance. Don’t blame me, I got teased by all the praise for Mr. Boye’s performance, and I’m still anxiously awaiting the payoff.

I‘m sorry but i’m going to have to call a spade a spade here.

Glenn cries ALL THE DAMN TIME! Usually, he makes himself cry when he’s pleading with his listeners over one topic or another.

While a beautiful rendition of the national anthem can be very moving, I’m just not interested to hear the Glenn cried.

By the way, I haven’t seen the video, but if this guy nailed it, good for him! The anthem should be respected by its performers and not treated as an experiment in vocalization.

I know I will be thought a troll for this, but… Alex Boye has an amazing voice, but I prefer versions of the national anthem that I can sing along to. It’s just a little quibble I have about the performance.

I watched the entire Restoring Love program with my niece and it was amazing to see how much she was moved by it. It was a real blessing.

OMG…OMG…OMG. Restoring Love was absolutely, undeniably the most touching performance that I have ever seen! AND, although it was a TRIBUTE to the 34,000+ volunteers who selflessly served throughout the weekend, it was a great REWARD to those of us who could not attend! God Bless You Glenn Beck, Tonya, your Family and Staff! I LOVE EVERYTHING that Alex performs…the National Anthem made me weep! Thank You…the tears were of Joy. Alex was the last performance at the end of Restoring Courage…I’ve missed him!

I was at Restoring Courage as well. I wish the video was working on my site. All I get is a black screen. He was amazing in Israel.

You’re not a troll. I have not seen Mr. Boye’s redition yet, so I can’t comment on it, but I just wanted to say that ordinarily, I agree with you. I USUALLY don’t like it when artists try to put their own spin on our anthem, with one notable exception: Marvin Gaye’s NBA All-Star Game performance shortly before his death. I just can‘t help loving Marvin’s soulful rendition. Though it is certainly a departure from the traditional delivery, there is no doubt that it is coming straight from his heart and soul, and not some cry for attention that most of the other seem to be.

If you are not moved by such things, you may be part of the problem.

If you are moved by such things, you are likely part of the solution…help save America. The longest journey begins with that single step.

There is so much truth to that. How sensitive are we to the spirit and to things pertaining to it? Such are counterintuitive to the natural man, by design…

Oooh, you got Alex Boye to come sing? That guy is amazing. I’ve only ever seen him perform once and it was on a street corner across the street from the Salt Lake City temple out in front of Deseret Books. Even though it was out in the street it was still a great experience.

Patriotism so moving, so deep in the heart of true, honest, hard working Americans is something that the liberals will never understand. It is the reason our country is safe in our hands- and all we have to do is pay attention and participate.
