‘Allahu Akbar’: Shock Video Shows Muslims Allegedly ‘Stoning’ Christian Protesters in…Michigan

The conservative preoccupation with presenting Sharia law as a threat to the United States’ culture as well as its national security has long been an unwarranted source of liberal derision. They may want to rethink their attitude after this story.
Recently, the city of Dearborn, Michigan, hosted the 2012 Arab International Festival. Naturally enough, the event drew demonstrators, specifically a group of Christian protesters who wanted to voice their discontent with what they saw as the predominately Muslim character of the event. Whatever you may think of this motive, the results of their behavior were unquestionably shocking.
In a video posted by Gateway Pundit early this morning, protesters were depicted as being battered by a constant hail of thrown debris, including water bottles and possibly even stones. Skip to nine minutes into the following video to see the “stoning” portion where large, grey projectiles that look very much like rocks are tossed into the air at the demonstrators as the crowd screams “Allahu Akbar” and closes in:
Let me repeat: Christians were allegedly stoned and forced into retreat by an angry mob of Arabs in Dearborn, Michigan. Whether you find the protesters themselves distasteful, it would be alarming indeed to think this reaction was warranted. We can only hope that no one was hurt, and that the people allegedly throwing the items will be brought to justice. However, given the inability of the cameramen to capture the faces of their assailants, we have our doubts.

Regular readers of The Blaze might recognize one of the police officers identified in the video. At about the 11-minute mark, it appears Deputy Chief Mike Jaafer steps in to talk to the Christian protesters:
If Jaafer looks familiar, that’s because he was one of the stars of the now-cancelled TLC show “All American Muslim.”

Because the authorities are providing special treatment because of the Muslim religion does not mean that all of these Muslims are going to burn in hell. As JHRusky said, Jesus wanted people to come to know that He is the creator and has everything to offer them. I don’t recall a single scripture where Jesus told someone that they were going to “burn in hell”. The Muslim world is one of the fastest growing areas for conversion to Christianity. They are not converting because people are mis-quoting scripture and mis-characterizing Jesus and telling them that they‘re going to burn in hell and that they’re pigs. Frankly, the Christian crowd was out of line (not worth the attack they got, but out of line). There are times to take hard line … another faith having a get-together is not one of them. There should be equal treatment (ie: if taxPayers were funding this park and its operation for the day for a Muslim group, they should do the same for other faiths) … but evangelism that includes the terms “burn in hell” and “pigs” is not evangelism … it is anger and frustration. We can all get along and meeting extremism with extremism is not going to cause anything good to happen. If there are civil issues here with unfair treatment of one group or another … then deal with that … but don’t paint Jesus as an maniacal extremist looking to send people to hell. He gave his life for just the opposite reason.

How would it feel if it was the other way around? If you had a Christian Festival going on and there were Arabs protesting it with chants and signs? I imagine you would be outrage. These Arab people were part-taking in a non-threatening festival and were peaceful Before protestors showed up. I understand there is Freedom of Speech, but it isn’t that when it is creating some sort of violence. Those protestors were putting themselves at risk and such risk should have been seen, it is obvious it would have been met with hostility with the protestors actions. Thus, in a way, the protestors were provoking the Arab population. I simply cannot understand why people just can be at Peace. The Arab population of Dearborn has every right to have a festival of their own, Why come in there and start Protesting? You’re just causing trouble.

What in the world is a government entity that would fight to the death to prevent a government sponsored Christian festival doing sponsoring a religious event that the private populace of Dearborn was more than capable of sponsoring financially all on their own, and rightfully so? I do not agree with protesting Islam itself as this is just as bigoted as Muslims are, but I would certainly have protested based on city sponsorship, and whether I agree or not, I would fight to the death to defend the protestors’ right to free speech. No matter what the protestors were saying, it did not countenance Muslim outrage expressed by throwing stones and other projectiles and otherwise attacking the protestors. Again, it doesn’t matter that Dearborn is composed of mainly Muslims. There is no separate law for religions in the US and if you can’t figure that out, then pack your bags and get out or face inevitable death when citizens rightfully defend themselves. Islamist mobs attempting to upend the Constitution in order to establish an Islamic state in which sharia law trumps constitutional, federal and state laws as well as violation of the rights of non-lslamic citizens cannot be tolerated, not because of their religion but their hatred of the rule of law. They have to be either forced to adapt or leave if they refuse to abide by the law. Dearborn’s government should be held accountable as well.

Yes! The first century Christians changed the world, but they didn’t do it by going out to places where others worshiped false gods and inciting them with the knowledge they were going to Hell. They did it by one on one witnessing primarily, except in Paul’s Sermon on Mars Hill, he didn‘t stand up there and tell them they were worshiping false God’s and needed to repent, instead he talked of the idol to “The Unknown God”, Who not knowing they yet worshiped, and explained this was Jesus, and they had asked him to speak. (Acts 17:18-34) How much further you get with love than provocation!

There are two separate issues that can be addressed here. One is the spiritual behavior of these Christians. I agree with you that they acted in the flesh. There was zero Holy Spirit anointing in their words. That is self-evident to any Spirit-filled Christian. However, that is not the main issue being discussed here. Granted, what they did was stupid, unwise and unChrist-like, but in AMERICA people have a Constitutional right to protest and speak their minds. Those Muslims showed their true colors and total disrespect for the RULE OF LAW when they threw rocks and bottles at the Christian crowd. And on top of that, the Islamist authorities who now control that city walked away, and left the Christians to fend for themselves — like Hussein is doing to AZ.

No, I am not one of their attorneys. What happened in Dearborn is something I never thought I’d see happen. I live near that city, and have seen it RAPIDLY change, and not for the better I might add. What’s next Sharia law in Dearborn? I truly pray that the people in the group “told to leave” will see, and consider this suggestion.

The protesters were acting within their constitutionally protected rights of freedom of speech. The Muslims were not. When you equate a perfectly legal, constitutionally protected act with a criminal act you indicate a basic lack of knowledge of our constitution. Posted on June 27, 2012 at 8:42amOK, I’m going to be contrarian. Everything I heard about these “Christians” suggests that they were there to cause trouble. Yes, there are things worth protesting, the treatment of Arab Christians most of all. But to attend somebody else’s party and get in their face about their basic beliefs is just rude… not that rudeness justifies physical assault.

The funny thing is that you never hear about christians or conservatives acting the way the muslims did in Michigan. Because if you did it would be on EVERY mainstream media outlet running 24 hours 7 days a week.
One more thing, we still live in the U.S. and we have a right to protest and a right of freedom of speech…..however, we are losing that at an alarming rate and it is obviously in this part of Michigan those rights don’t count unless you are a muslim.

1) Whether it was a “Christian” group or not makes no difference, they were American citizens carrying signs and standing for something they believe in. They had the right to be there as American citizens as long as they were not hurting others.
2) These men were attacked on a street in America by children and adults for walking down the street carrying signs. Why were they attacked? Do we see large groups of “Christian” children attack anyone for unpopular signs while adults standby and watch doing nothing?
3) The police did the right thing by making them leave as they would probably be hurt and possibly cause a “real” problem. Why would there be a “real” problem? Is it because they are in the largest Muslim majority city in America?
4)The questions by the cameraman were valid: How can the city afford to have a dozen cops escort them out of the festival and then later pull them over but could not spare one or two to stand and watch the crowd and protect the groups freedom of speech?
5) What would happen if the situation were reversed? If a group of Muslims were attacked at a Christian festival by a group of young people and adults? Not that this is very probable as we see all sorts of protesters everyday doing things to really irritate and harm people and large groups do nothing but watch or maybe help anyone in trouble.
6) Why did no one, including the police, help this group?

What the protsters video captured (whether intentional or not) was the blood thirsty savagery of this doctrine’s teachings/followers. The question is why were these irritated festival goers allowed to react with violence? And more Importanty how long before it affects me directly?

This is a horrible precendent. A few years ago, there was an Islamic group protesting outside of a Jewish center and drew quite a crowd. (here in my hometown) Did the civilized Americans throw stones like cowards? No. Did anyone shout obscenities to the protestors? No. These people think that they are in a class all by themselves. Well, maybe they are. Assimilation is not their goal.
