Alleged Anti-Walker Protesters Super Glue WI School‘s Doors Shut Before Gov’s Visit

Milwaukee Schools Doors Super Glued Shut Ahead of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker Visit

The front doors of Milwaukee's Messmer Prepatory School were super glued shut Thursday ahead of a visit from Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. (Newsradio 620 WTMJ)

The doors of an inner city Milwaukee Catholic school were super glued shut Thursday ahead of a visit by Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

“Some of these folks super glued our front doors at the prep school,” Messmer Prepatory School President Br. Bob Smith told WTMJ Newsradio.

Smith said a woman was walking around in front of the school, urging people to protest Walker’s visit.

According to Smith, one protestor said, “‘Get ready for a riot,’ because they were going to disrupt the visit.”

Smith said the governor’s Friday visit to read to schoolchildren did not have any political overtones and was unrelated to any of the controversy surrounding Walker and union collective bargaining rights.

“People ought to start acting like adults,” Smith said. “You‘ve got little kids who have no clue what you’re talking about, and you make something political when it isn’t, that’s just flat-out wrong.”

In March, doors at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee were super glued shut before a campus rally to protest Walker’s budget.

    Peaceful assemblies are fine. Arrest those inciting a riot. Find and arrest those who vandalized school property…I am sure there are security videos that can help with that.

      I am astonished at the extremely low level of maturity union thugs possess. Is this due to liberal education? No respect for different views, no respect for property or life. What would happen if they got what they wanted and we did this to them. They can’t handle the truth (movie quote)! There is going to be civil war. How sad, back to Americans against Americans.       Can’t say that these were MTEA union members – fact is, this is a private school not public – no unions in the school. Whoever these idiots were that super glued the doors shut were there to cause problems for Governor Walker. This has become there way of doing business in Wisconsin and around the country. If Dems don’t agree they yell, picket, take it to the courts all in the effort to disrupt the democratic process. From the Capitol building, State Fair, Special Olympics……wherever the Governor goes – these jerks follow to cause trouble!!

      It doesn’t say what, if anything, the police did to the lady who said there would be a riot and that they were going to disrupt the visit. I know if I said there would be a disruptive riot before John Kasich came to our school, I would be arrested for threatening.
