‘True Racism’: Allen West Calls Out Liberals Who Think Black Conservatives Need ‘Approval’ From Their ‘Masters’

Congressman Allen West (R-FL) made a number of notable media appearances over the weekend, and is receiving both praise and condemnation for his comments, depending on your source.
On Fox News with Mike Huckabee, West responded to a recent L.A. Times article that said America’s “dirtiest job” is “justifying Allen West.”
West calmly responded, with analysis on who the real “racists” are in politics:
“I really feel that it is [demeaning] to me to think that I need some individual to ‘justify’ me and my existence.
“Look, I went through 22 years being in the military. [I rose] to the rank of Lt. Colonel. I have a bachelor‘s degree and 2 master’s degrees, and for these white liberals to believe they can have this condescending manner toward black conservatives, that we need to have approval from our quote unquote, I guess “masters,” for us to be able to speak — see that’s where the true racism really lies… is with the white liberals who don’t want to see someone such as myself, that broke away from their dependency class, and is out here and able to possibly contend against them with the policies that they are promoting that is destroying the black community.
“I know I’m their #1 target, and it just emboldens me to speak out even stronger. And the heck with them if they think that someone else needs to approve [of] me and what I stand for.” [Emphasis added]

On another Fox News appearance, West reiterated that Obama has gone from “hope and change” to a more divisive and “envious” rhetoric where the administration is trying to separate Americans along gender lines, sexual orientation, and income level.
West also remarked that he does not regret his choice of words at a recent fundraiser, where he reportedly said that Obama doesn’t want people to have the self-esteem of getting up and earning the title of “American.”
“He’d rather have you be his slave and be economically dependent upon him,” West explained.

I would counsel West to declare every last dollar from speaking engagements, keep campaign contributions separate from other revenue and just generally walk like a Boy Scout. In other words, don’t do like the Ayatollah Obama does.
His campaign will not ask contributors to his Obama 2012 effort for the 3 digit verification number on the back of the credit cards. Have you ever thought how easy it would be for a foreign government, say Bashar al Assad’s Syria, to buy a bucketload of prepaid Visa cards to distribute to their faithful, instructing them to go online and dump those balances into Obama’s coffers? I just wonder if that could explain the tsunami of online contributions to Obammie’s 2008 campaign?

America needs a leader like this, a man who speaks the truth no matter the consequences, and does the right thing, even though it may hurt his career,Hopefully he will be the 2nd black President, and first one with slave blood, as the black preachers like to say. I just hope he lives long enough. I would not be surprised if the liberals start gunning for him, if he becomes nationally popular, their socialist agenda will be destroyed for the next 50 years. I don’t always agree with the way he votes, but I trust him more than any other politician, to do the right thing.

West was interrogating a captured Iraqi policeman who was involved in, and had information about, an ambush planned against his soldiers. The guy contemptuously clammed up, believing that the US soldiers were legally prevented from injuring him. Col West took out his pistol and fired it next to the Iraqi’s head. The guy immediately saw the error of his ways and provided full details.
Col West immediately reported the incident to his superiors, knowing that he had crossed the line. Long story short; he was fined $5000 and he was allowed to retire honourably with full benefits.
When he was asked whether he would do it again, knowing that it would end his career, he said “If it’s the lives of my soldiers at stake, I’d walk through hell with a gasoline can.”
Far from being a failing, Verceofreason, it shows the considerable strength of character and sense of honour with which the Colonel is possessed.
You have made yourself look extremely foolish. At best.

You know I’m not one to bash his service like Verse, but man can’t take away our natural rights. They’re ours, they don’t come from man and no ethical politician believes they can vote them away. I don’t dislike the things he says, I dislike his voting record. I assume he just went along with some slick talking establishment R‘s because he doesn’t read the bills he votes for and wouldn’t understand the lawyer double speak anyway. A perfect example was him doubling down on his NDAA vote in a town hall meeting, saying that it didn’t authorize the indefinite detention of American Citizens, although legal scholars on both sides of the isle say it does. Even the president said that it did. Just consider he might be a good man who is over his head in Washington, but too proud/arrogant to listen to anyone outside the beltway.

Frankly, you are nothing more than a loud mouthed wussy (spelled with a P) who will of course never serve. You have no idea of the military’s judicial system and it shows. LTC West committed an infraction so minor that it would be considered a misdemeanor in civilian life. He was offered an Article 15 nonjudicial punishment for that infraction. He had the choice to accept and deal with an Article 15 proceeding, or he could have chosen a Courts Martial where he would have been able to representation by a lawyer or lawyers. His commanding officer then did find him guilty of the infraction during the Article 15 procedure and the $5,000 fine was the result of a percentage being taken from his pay, likely over a three month period.

However I do reject the notion that West is racist or him joining the group is a racist action. He has openly said that he is trying infect the racist and liberal tool from the inside out. The only way we could ever dream of ending this race based caucus is if we take control of it from the inside.

The black caucus, on the other hand, are obviously for black members. I do not believe in keeping members out because of racial division, but anyone with knowledge of history should know full well that many black ppl need to come together and try to agree on things that would improve their community along with the American community as well. Well, at least that is the way it should be. I guess maybe I’m an optimist.

I also agree that Allen West is sell out when it come to security over freedom. At the same time he a very good voice and important on many other issues. He is very vocal and able and willing to call out Marxist and Marxism aka Communism. It is also important for minorities and his case black people to say the thing he is saying to combat the stereo types that they portray us as.
West is from perfect and soon as their is someone you is better than him in his district they replace. But until then you do nothing to help the liberty movement by tearing down at every opportunity.
We need to praise everything that is good on what he says and does. At the same time highlight his short comings. You only tear down with nothing to build.
People like Allen West are more inclined to work with people Rand, Ron Tea partiers and libertarians. You some how I never see you when actual marxist and full fledge rhinos etc articles you say nothing. You only attack the closest thing we have to true conservative, tea partiers and libertarians. Shift your focus the bigger fish or rhinos.

With that statement I can agree. I would just like to ad to that list the likes of Chis Cristy. I find again with Bachmann to be of the lesser that (I believe) we can work with and support because she is a advocate for not just for auditing the but also ending the FED along ending other federal institution etc.
Again she is also a sell out when comes to freedom over security. This people maybe only stepping stones. But they do help our causes move forward. Your all or nothing approach will be our down fall. We should replace them if we have a better candidate running against them.
Focusing only the on people closest to our movement helps us how? West and Bachmann are not the mainstream that blocking us from the table nor are they the image of movement but they are a step.
You can not answer why you are silent to the biggest perpetrator of the GOP and actual marxist. You only speak up and try to tear down people like Bachmann who advocates ending the FED & etc.. really? Get your priorities straight. How can you think you are help end big government or advance liberty?

I get that they have slave blood, I get they have been treated poorly by whites so frankly let the blacks have their special groups if they feel more comfortable. I wouldn’t join a all white group. West joined the black caucus for more than being black, I think he wanted to educate the liberal blacks that they are being enslaved again, however this time the master doesn’t care about race, gender or religious beliefs. I have to question the ppl with slave blood whether it be Jews, blacks or whatever, wouldn‘t one see the bonds of slavery before those who don’t have slave blood?

We “fought” against illegal immigration. What are the “nobles” doing (Rubio’s Dream Act)?

You still have not addressed why you single out Tea party and questionable Fake-Tea party instead of the actual marxist and or Bush like GOP. Like again Chris Clumpy, Jeb Bush and other McCain like figures and any or all of the people who defend them.
Not to even mention the figures on in the democrat party who most is not all full blown marxist and even communist.
I am with you on that fact and their failures but William Wallis attacked the English not the nobles and even knew that he would need one day still need those same cowardly nobles.
My point is not to silence that facts. I’m say where is your voice on other people or topics? It seem like you only goal is ruin Allen West. I felt and do feel betrayed but him. You portray him as some type corrupt menace who lies to gain power.

Romney would be smart to nominate him as his V.P. That would energize the Conservative base to have someone like Allen West on the ticket. Someone with courage and the tenacity to tell it like it is.
Romney if you are reading this, take my advice. Put Congressman Allen West on your ticket.
As far as Allen West’s comments. I agree with him one hundred percent. The Liberals hate independent thinking Black men and they hate conservative women. Why? Because they don’t have the slave mentality that the Liberals would like everyone to have. The Liberals love to nurture dependence on big government. Why? Because It allows them to sit back and not do anything to contribute to society. The Liberals are the parasites and they feed off us. And when we call foul they call us racist and bigots, when they’re the racists and bigots.
Contrary to what they now want to foster, division, Americans have come a long way. And, whereas the Liberals always want to divide and conquer, the Conservatives want to let everyone know that no matter what their station in life, or their color, they can make great strides in their lives if the government gets out of their way.
The Founders knew that small government, government closest to the people, and free enterprise made for a free people. Because in the entire history of the world all big government leads to tyranny and all tyranny leads to death by government.

I didn’t vote for Romney in the primaries, I voted for Santorum. He said many times Romney would be unable to combat Obamacare because of Romneycare and look what’s happened the last couple weeks. For you Paul supporters…the country is no more ready for Ron Paul than for another 4 years of Obama. He’s got the right ideas on many things, but on others he turns people away. He didn’t win. I’m not sure what the final delegate count was, but if Santorum had stayed in he would have crushed Paul. Oh well. We got Romney, another establishment GOPier. I hope the Romney supporters have it right, but I have big doubts. Be that as it may, I’ll punch his ticket in November. As Glenn says “at least he’s not a communist.” He’s already a disappointment. He needs to pick up the pace. But I’d even vote for Paul over Obama if he had a chance, which he doesn’t. All of you Paul supporters are living in as big a fantasy land as the Libs! It’s OK. Support your guy, but when the time comes make the right choice. We will cease to exist as the U.S.A. if Obama gets reelected. Better luck next time. I always vote for a conservative and never win. California and New York have way too much power.

I find it a rather, interesting comparison to link a welfare queen with a soldier. Your simplistic justification for this line of thought is kind of funny though, you know, one person gets shot at, and has to work their butt off, the other, well, if they make it to the convenience store to pick up some beer and cigs it‘s a full day’s work.
But I guess to each their own. Are you just bashing Allen West, or do you actually have a legitimate plan about how or what to replace our “welfare military?”
