Allen West Wonders: Is Obama‘s New Immigration Rule a ’Backdoor’ Path to Allowing Illegals to Vote?

Allen West Wonders if Obama Immigration Rule Will Lead to Immigrant VotingThis morning’s bombshell announcement that the Obama administration will work around Congress to institute a revised version of the DREAM Act has led to a plethora of questions — curiosities the president will likely address later this afternoon.

In examining the situation, it’s hard not to wonder how much of it has to do with politics and the coming election. This is precisely what Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) pondered this morning when he appeared on Fox News to discuss the new immigration regulation, calling it “administrative overreach.”

West told the network that he views the administration’s plan as a “backdoor” opportunity to potentially usher in voting rights for undocumented immigrants. If, indeed, there is validity to this statement, it’s worth exploring. After all, the Democrats would likely appeal more to illegals who want an easier way to secure citizenship — a motivating factor for any politician running with a leftist platform.

In the interview, West also went on to lament the notion that the nation is separating itself “from government that is based upon the consent of the American people.“ The politician also contended that ”we’re starting to live under a rule by edict or executive order.”

Here are some of West’s other comments on the matter:

“What is going to happen as far as their right to vote? Is this one of those backdoor opportunities to allow people in the next five months to get the opportunity to vote? Will we see Janet Napolitano and the president come out with a new edict that says since we allow these people to be here legally, we’re now going to allow them to have the opportunity to vote? Now, how far down the rabbit whole will it go?…the American people are obviously not allowed to have any kind of input through the representatives they sent to Washington, D.C.”

    Bizzare to say the least but expected. Next will be a Presidential edict to legalize pot, then all student loans will be forgiven all in the hopes that the people getting the favors will vote. But, I think, this will have little bearing on the election because there are more sane people than those who live at the fringe of society. I think, that, something really extreme has to happen for Obama to be re-elected. This is just a little speed bump.

      I hope you’re correct about the speed bump, the problem with these kinds of giveaways and major unconstitutional changes will always be the people that support them, and the facts they never take into account were the money comes from because it will cost us all, one way or another.

      They vote anyway, That’s what liberals do. I think they call it vote fraud but it‘s not a problem because we can’t prove it ya see, they don‘t need ID and it would be discriminatory to do anything to stop it as black women change their name a lot etc and it’s such a burden to take care of the paperwork. So We can’t fix it, it has to stay broke for ever and ever.

      It will be hard for states to block these people from voting especially since Holder is blocking states from implementation of voter ID laws and suing Florida to keep them from removing illegal voters from the rolls. Can we say voter fraud?

      My understanding of our government is that congress passes laws not the executive branch. If you think this is something wait until Sweet Old Barack losses in Nov. He is so egotistical he will not take a lose lying down. He will have 74 days from election night until inaugeration day for him and his csars to make our government unrecognizable. If he doesn’t declare martial Law he will get even with the American people by leaving a mess for the incoming administration to unravel.

    Mr. Obama is most certainly not incompetent. It is to the advantage of any enemy to be underestimated at the time of an attack. Obama’s greatest threat is not that he is incompetent, but that he is not good. He is a bad man with a plan and he has lots of bad men and women to help and he is looking for more. While our culture slowly settled into the quicksands of the social acceptance of immorality and dishonor, tyrants and wanna be dictators have placed themselves into positions of influence and power at all levels of government. We can’t handle this little “skin problem” by popping one zit at a time, we must change our diet as a nation and get cleaned up and stay that way.

    Congress needs to nullify the Executive Order privilege for any action that, by the Constitution, requires the participation and approval of Congress. The Communist-in-Chief has gone way beyond abusing this privilege and needs to be reined in and impeached. He has commited enough impeachable offenses to get his marxist butt thrown out many times over–Clinton was impeached for screwing an intern–this POS is screwing the entire country!

      We now have proof we have moved from a representative democracy to a dictatorship. I have visions of this scene at the voter booths next election: I go up to vote and they tell me that I have already voted. I tell them I have not. They show me where the person has signed. I say that’s not my signature. I asked what proof they presented to say they were me. They say they were not allowed to ask for proof. I say I can prove who I am. They refuse to let me show proof. I say I want to vote. They call the police and charge me with trying to vote twice. I am taken off to jail.

    Why waste time having a congress? Just give the president unilateral control and reduce our national debt with less overpaid and over-entitled government employees. Saves jet fuel. Heck, he‘s taking from congress with barely a whimper from congress’s whimps. He has NDAA now…he could arrest congress and anyone who opposes him and stick them in FEMA camps until after the “election”. Let’s let congress chase Holder or gun control or abortion issues or whatever the right is chasing like a dog after a moving car, and leave the really important issue like the destruction of the USA to the big boys…ohhh… we don’t have any big boys… just RINOs who accept the NWO, Agenda 21, etc.

    In CA to get a job in many professions now you have to speak Spanish. This would just be the finishing touch. Go to a rest home or ER and check out the names…80% south of USA. What’s next? The boy from Kenya has grown up.

    This is another one of Obama’s back door policys.What congress needs to do is to change when the prez can use the executive order. I think Obama will use this more and more to go around congress and what the american people want. Obama is not considering what is going on with the border states and acting on that problem.There are americans that fear for there life and also those who have been killed by illegals entering the US.       I won’t give one dime to Romney or the RNC. Both are just as bad as our President. The committee may even be worse. But I am working hard to make sure that we have a change in administrations in January. I‘m very scared for the long term viability of our Republic and can’t see any clearly better choice in either of the two parties that are forced on us.

    That is everyone legal citizen’s concern should be! If you are not a US. citizen, you should NOT vote in our elections. It’s too important and foreign nationals should have NO say in our policies. This is NOT limited to just Mexicans and I don’t want anyone who has entered this country illegally voting!
